It's still so hard to believe that the American people don't care about this guy's lies.

Why are people looking the other way?  Because of Bush?

I feel like I'm living in crazyland.

Why is this @ss getting a free ride?  Because he's adored?

This is an outrage!

Destiny, it just beats the hell out of me.  It has truly been so strange and so unbelievable that O has gotten a free pass on EVERYTHING.  His documented transactions with known criminals.  His crazy associates/friends - Ayers, Wright, and maybe the craziest of all, Phleger.

I swear I hate to be some conspiracy theorist, but increasingly, I find myself thinking like one.  All I know is that we either have a whole lot of apathetic, uninformed people in this country - who don't know and don't care what's happening, or there's a lot of under the table dirty dealing going on.  Maybe both.

Both.  Not only do we have apathetic and uninformed people in this country, they are also uneducated, anti-American and stupid.  That is the only way this 'fraud' could have been elected.  And, the dirty dealings is brought to us by "The Bilderberg Group", who is desperately trying to create a New World Order.

Before my family and I started supporting Hillary (after seeing her in a rally) in Feb.08, we had no idea about politics.  All we knew is that we were democrats and that we always voted democrat.  After we heard the Fraud speak once, common sense told us that he was a lying, anti-american phony.  My husband and I will always be amazed that
not everyone could see what we saw, because we consider ourselves quite average in lifestyle and education.  We kept saying that the really smart people must see the truth about this joker, if we see it, they must.  I don't think we have ever been that wrong about smart people.  Even my brother who is really smart and a Republican said to us (after o won), "let's give him a chance, he might be a good president".  I said to brother (who is a Pharmacist), "what kind of pills are you on?"
I can understand the media world kissing oboy's @ss, because somehow they have figured out how to make money off this 'Fraud', but our friends and families gushing over this fool, is just too much for us to take.  The part that is hardest to come to terms with, is the fact that all these people we knew (some since childhood and some for over 30 years), all have their judgement impaired. Which in turn, we no longer trust them or their judgement on anything.  It's like having a bunch of mentally impaired people in our lives and we don't have the energy, patience or sympathy to care about their love for their leader.

It is totally weird that some people could tell after hearing O speak once that he was an insincere, self-important, fraud. I know about 5 people (other than you guys and other online friends) who actually instinctively knew right away that O was an empty suit. Then, there are a quite a few more who figured it out after several speeches, debates, etc. But, like Destiny, I have Repub relatives who have NEVER voted Dem in their lives - until they voted for The Fraud. It was unfreakinbelievable!! I have other relatives who would vote Dem if the party was running Satan, himself. They were kind of on the fence between Hill and O, but leaning O. We had a less than civil disagreement. lol.

Alex, I think you have a point.  It is very possible that we were all the same people before this past election as we are today.  I guess it's like the saying, "you don't really know someone until you live with them".  It makes sense that the people who were easily brainwashed by him and the media, always were easily brainwashed.

I was talking to my friend today (a newer friend) and we were talking about this very thing.

He mentioned to me that he believes there must be a common thread with the people who supported Hillary and then didn't vote party line (aka pumas).  His theory is that we all had suffered some kind of betrayal in our lives, and that we are able to recognize something similar in obamma and that is why we didn't vote for him and viewed him as a fraud.  As if our experience of betrayal was so overwhelming that it left us with a sense of a self defense protection devise in our brains, so to make sure we weren't fooled again.  I know in my case it could be true.  My husband and I trusted my contracting cousin to add a second story onto our home back in 2000, and after rain destroyed our existing downstairs, and two years in court and an extra $300,000 dollars later, we were left angry, sad, broke, shocked and betrayed (never ever hire a relative, even if you are forced into it like we were).  After nine years, we strongly feel betrayed by my family.  My friend said that it was a friend, a business deal and money that he still feels betrayed over.

Maybe these experiences in our lives were so dramatic that our brains jump into survival mode to protect us from a similar situation.  When I think about that now, I'm seeing a lot of similarities between the joker and my cousin.  They both were well liked for their phoniness, spoke like liars, made empty promises, pretended to be a nice guy, snorted cocaine and stole our money from us. Yep, that about covers it.

Is it possible that there is a common thread within us?

I'm so sorry to hear about your bad house experience, Destiny.  That sounds like it must have been a nightmare!

There's definitely a difference between those who can see through this crook and those who can't.  It may be also that they're optimists and we're realists - or we just have more brains!wink
