HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will deliver a major policy speech at The Kahala Hotel and Resort this morning. She is expected to take the podium at 8:30 a.m.
Secretary Clinton is expected to speak on the next steps in the United States' Asia-Pacific strategy. Her speech comes during the first stop of a two-week trip to Honolulu, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand.
Attendance at the event is by invitation only, but the speech will be streamed live online at www.EastWestCenter.org.

In any case, Hawaii sounds like a good place to be right now!! Hopefully Hillary will be able to enjoy some of the warm weather in Honolulu.
