Obama, according to a new survey of the president’s home state. Clinton is the most popular politician in the state, according to the Suffolk University poll. The former presidential contender was viewed favorably by 61% of Illinois likely voters, while 32% viewed her unfavorably. Obama was viewed favorably by 52% of respondents and unfavorably by 41%. Those numbers are higher than his national numbers, but suggest that even in Illinois, Obama’s brand is struggling. There is good news for Obama in the poll, however. He most certainly doesn’t have the lowest numbers of anyone in the survey: Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D) is viewed favorably by just 10% of respondents. The Suffolk poll was conducted Sept. 30 to Oct. 3. It surveyed 500 likely voters and had a margin of error of +/- 4.5%. __________________ Nobody puts THIS baby in the corner!
