Such a weird country.

Pres.Bush gave tax break -- 95% of the tax revenue lost stayed nicely lined in the pockets to top 5% -- and no it did not create jobs. Jobs are created because of demand in the population and that has to do with competitiveness of the economy.

Meanwhile, we are making the economy even less competitive by imposing silly and excessive taxes at the state level.

Just today, I found out that our SLICED bagel is now costing me sales tax in NY State (8.25% sales tax in my area) vs bagel not sliced (no sales tax) thanks to Gov.Paterson.  Geez!

They can find ways to squeeze the commoners anyway they can while the rich ... continue to battle bring tax level back to the Clinton years - i.e., expiration of the tax break.
