The Hillary Coup (Washington Times 8/23/10)

A sure sign that an administration is in trouble is Beltway buzz about making dramatic changes at or near the top. Lately, there has been increasing chatter about moving Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to a new job. The goal of the musical chairs would be to keep her from challenging the politically flailing President Obama in a Democratic primary in 2012.

I snipped out the Veep talk and the Secretary of Defense memes. The main point in posting this article lies in the last few lines, which I highlighted below:

Although sporting, none of the speculation means much at this stage. The size of the expected Democrat debacle in this fall's elections has yet to play out, and that election will set the initial terms for 2012. Mrs. Clinton has no pressing need to change jobs. Meanwhile, the new documentary "We Will Not Be Silenced," detailing alleged fraud involved in Mr. Obama's 2008 nomination, has been gaining more attention in Democratic circles. If Hillary supporters are going to mount a party coup against the first black president, they will need a better argument than that he is a complete disaster in his job.

Good news that the word is getting out about the caucus fraud. If we need more than the fact that the president is a complete disaster in order to get Hill into the WH, there are plenty of documented incidents of the Obama campaign's assault on democratic process.

Oh, well.. A complete disaster in the job is a good enough argument even against a (whatever-the-color-adjective) POTUS!!!  LOL

Yes, the documentary hangs around and will help show what a mess of a democracy we had in 2008 primaries.  And, yes, perhaps that will serve well when the next presidential primaries roll around.... PROVIDED the media takes it up with the 2008 primary extracurricular excesses of the far left zealots that supported the candidate that DNCC-RNC nominated to the ballot.

Hillary doesn't need anything more than what's happened in the first 2 years to challenge zero in '12. That's assuming zero runs, which in my mind would be a disaster only to The One.
