O is doing a better job than what he is getting credit for and Obama getting bum rap for not being empathetic. i want you all to hear it and comment
Bill said do these 4 things, esp the 1st 3
1 anybody that offers to help stop the leak let them help (i think O waited too long according to carville to accept denmark and norways help)
2. keep oil off shores. i think obama should have went down there more early on and accept those skimmers from ME offered in early May
3 minimize damage restore ... See Moredamage caused by oil on shores
4 find out who is accountable BP US gov and that is the 1 Bill said he would do last AFTER the other 3 listed. isn't obama doing 4 first? announced that he would find out whose ass to kick and then said after speech in Oval that BP must pay monitary damages

watch and giver your interpretation of any Clinton code

Dick Morris and Sean Hannity's take on Bill's "compliment" to Obama
Bill Clinton telling Obama he is fine not emoting, fine BUT you need to fix the problem now and layed out 3 solutions and told Obama to blame later. They both said a direct hit to Obama because he is concentrating on assigning blame and getting BP to pay while the problem is not getting fixed. Dick said the direct hit and opening for a Hillary candidacy because it is Obama's incompetence more than low empathy that is ticking off the country and policies are similar between the 2 but she is more competent

you could say the same thing about Bill's comment on the US budget being a mess (i posted that video in another thread)

In complementing O, Bill also pointed out his weaknesses. He's good at this. As Amy said, he did the same thing when he talked about the budget. One of Bill's greatest strengths is the skill with which he uses words. He has the ability to articulate points very clearly, of course. But, equally important in politics, he can make a point about another player without directly attacking. He's smooth and eloquent.

unfortunately during the 2008 campaign for some reason those political gifts got overrun by anger over he and hillary being called racists and did not help hillary. guess he got his words about obama painted as racist when he said roll of the dice and fairy tale.

Yep, he could have been a little cooler, despite the lies being told. Maybe the heart surgery had something to do with that. When one of my relatives had by-pass surgery, we were told to expect some significant changes in her personality for a minimum of two weeks - maybe permanently. It took several months for most of the noticeable changes to revert back to "normal". More than likely, in Bill's case, he found it much easier to tolerate insults and lies told about him than about his wife.

In any case, he seems to have "found his voice" again, and the old silver-tongued (silver-tongued meant as a compliment) Bill is back.
