At the time I took the poll, 61 percent of respondents answered yes. (For the record, I clicked "Too Early To Tell.") I am optimistic, but I am cautiously optimistic. But the fact that they're doing this poll at all says something, don't you think?
I do think it says a lot. At first I thought that the talk of her challenging O was strictly because of her rising popularity, and his declining approval ratings. I still think that's the primary force behind the Hillary/2012 speculation. But, I have started to think that more people than we knew felt as we did and still do - that the nom was stolen from her, and that she was pushed around by the party and by MSM. Maybe some people who now are seeing her potential, her toughness, and her ability to serve, were originally willing to allow her to be pushed around and denied the nom by DNC because they did not fully recognize how good she is. More importantly, maybe they did not know that she could and would be as selfless as she has been - supporting and working for Obama, being loyal to the party, refusing to complain about maltreatment.
Her performance as SOS has certainly dispelled any concerns about ability, competence, etc. She should have had the nom in 2008. Because the party stood by and allowed her to be robbed by the DNC and by MSM, Dems should damn well stand behind her in 2012. The owe her. And, they owe it this country, along with an apology for the four years of Obama-hell.
