This post at Tennessee Guerilla Women describes the mood of progressives at their America's Future Now! conference as "surly". Seems the disappointed progressives have concluded that "hope is not enough." I swear, the collective IQ of these folks must be at least 35. They have figured out that their Chosen One ain't delivering the goods. The thrill is gone. Hope ain't floating. lol. Tuesday, June 08, 2010 Hope Is Not Enough
David Dayen reports from the progressive America's Future Now! conference where attendees have concluded that hope is not enough. The focus of the liberal conference is on the future of progressive movement:
Surly is about the best word to describe this conference in Washington after the first day. . Progressives – and at this conference, you can even include the institutional groups in that – are just unhappy. . . Attendees expressed that they can no longer – if they ever could have – expect this Administration to do the right thing, and that they must be pushed aggressively from the outside. . I don’t know where all this anger is going to go, but it’s nice to know it exists. If it didn’t, I’d think something was wrong. [via Big Tent Dem]

It ain't easy being a bot these days, Obama went and changed his ways. He's too much like Bush, Needs a kick in the tush. No Greek columns, no more glitter, And, oh that Kool-Aid's awful bitter!
Jen, the poem's a hoot - and true, to boot (sorry - lol). You need to put it on a T-shirt. Seriously.
