This crucial battleground state was the prime target Monday in the White House’s campaign to win congressional hearts and minds on health care reform.
Just ask Rep. Dennis Kucinich.
One of the most liberal members of the House, Kucinich nevertheless voted against health care reform last year, saying the bill didn’t go far enough. But with President Barack Obama near his home, the pressure was on.
Obama introduced Kucinich as “your own congressman, who is tireless on behalf of working people.”
“Vote yes!” an audience member shouted.
“Did you hear that, Dennis?” Obama said, before turning to the crowd and adding: “Go ahead, say that again.”
Rep.Kucinich who has thus far been a "No" was on AF-1 with the President this morning going to Ohio and has now been saying he will wait and see what the President has to say.
