No, I did not forget to capitalize certain words when I titled this thread. This is the way it was originally written. I'm posting the whole rant here. I don't agree with everything Roseanne has written here, especially the part about a return to the Confederacy. But overall, Roseanne gets it.

http://www.roseanneworld.com/blog/2010/03/when_the_dems_screwed_hillary_1.php

when the dems screwed Hillary, they screwed america
out of health care and out of jobs. I knew it. I told you so. I got so sick to my stomach as I watched forty years of the work of women get washed down the drain by axelrod and emmanuel and dean, richardson kerry and kennedy.
When Oprah, who knows nothing about politics and who never in twenty years did one show on the subject, put the final nail in the coffin of the health care candidate, i was stunned. I lost my faith in everything, including God. I had seen the dismantling of the working class since 1980, and had fought against it so hard, doing everything i could, and using everything at my disposal. I thought, how can an entire generation of feminism die right when the hope for it was at its strongest. I pleaded with friends not to back Obama. I said, but you know Hillary is the health care candidate, and he has not even a plan for any kind of healthcare in his platform or in his campaign! I blogged every day on the subject for about a year.
I knew the phony progressive left was just a trick of Soros and billionaire criminals to take down health care. I knew Obama got more wall street money than any other candidate, and I knew he was a phony too, all the way, as I watched him snicker about Hillary, the woman's candidate being "likable enough". I didn't like her vote on Iraq, but she promised to end the war, and I believed that she would. I knew that she would listen to women, not completely abandon them as Obama has done. I knew that she would listen to working people, before bankers, unlike what Obama has done.
They set her up like they always set up women, and after we do all the groundwork, they take it away, and then they divide the spoils between themselves and their old boy network. Now, it is all coming clear to all the idiots that the wrong person is in the white house. Another George Bush. He has not saved one home from foreclosure nor created one job. He just wants to get down on his knees in front of those republicans and grovel, and HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE TO!
They triangulated race and class AGAIN!! They may have token black people in congress and the senate and the supreme court, and elsewhere, but they have never ever in this history of this country had ONE token poor person in anything.
Class, not race is our real national nightmare. Race and gender are second and third. Damn, so close to single payer and real change, now so far. My God, India has had more women at the top of its government by about 5X than we have.
I have no hope and no faith left at all for this country and the people in it. It's not going to get better, but worse, and I blame the Democrats for all of it. They are sold out played out corrupt nothing lovers dancing around a golden calf, as Republican Sociopaths line their pockets with our hard earned money, and the Romney family, who have worked harder than any other family, save the Bush's to destroy the fabric of the great society licks its chops for 2012. A bloodbath is coming. Republicans will clean up in the elections, and then they will clean up the rest of the money too and stuff it in their pants. They will cut everything, and have a return to the Confederacy that they have dreamed of since Roosevelt left office.

I agree with a lot of what she says but why in the world was she talking about The Republicians wanting to bring the confederacy back.  Another American who needs to learn History. It was the Democrats who wanted to keep the confederacy not the Republicans it was the Repubicans who ended slavery.
Frankly I hope health care never gets solved.  I am sick of this pointless debate Health care is not a right guarenteed by the Constitution.  I am sick of government interferring in the lives of Americans it never works out right.  Personally I think the whole health care planis a way to put more poor people in jail.  Hillary has more important things to worry about and hopefully she will give up this health care reform BS and stop the foolishness of thinking its the government's job to take care of all Americans.
Europe is a mess and they are so bogged down with taking care of their lazy citizens that they can't even defend themselves.  They must relay on us to take care of their needs.  I don't want Americans to end up like the snooty Europeans.  Lets stop trying to be like Europe and remain Americans

I know how she feels, and the efforts she put forth, and the lack of advancements for women
in politics, yea the dems screwed us. They've drawn a line in the sand, and we're not to cross over, but we are going to kick ass, and open doors regardless of that line barrier.

She says didn't like Hillary's vote on the war, BS. That's telling me she agreed with Obama
campaign to hike up the fact that she voted, and he didn't. Hell he said if he had been able to vote, he wasn't sure how he would have. Yet, Obama welcomed all the men who also voted into his circle and they didn't take the heat for their vote. And that pisses me off!
I'll never forget it.

She's got one thing right about the civil war - class differences & gender it was "rich man's war, and the poor man's fight" . But as far as loyalty to party, that is why you had brother against brother, and families pitted against families.

Do you think that women didn't protest the armies coming through towns and taking their
15 year old sons to war? Robbing them of everything. Not to many women spoke up, and those that did try to stop it, where put in their place, and punished by the men for not supporting their cause, and it didn't matter if you owned slaves or didn't, and regardless of what side their husbands, brothers, and Uncles were fighting on, the women were never respected, and certainly not from any soliders. That is why so many women aided in
dessertion, and those who were found out, they suffered brutally, including being shot on the spot.

Alot of men and women of the south defied the confederacy, and they were abused, arrested,
and forced into uniform, and families were left to starve. It was the poor folks who had
to survive the battlefields, and the women left to defend their hometown farms without protection. And then when the men did return home, they had to nurse them back to health
minus legs, and arms, and tried to restore their lively hood, which for the most part was gone forever.

There was alot of people then who hated the democratic party, many of them became republican. Sort of like me, I hated what the dems did to Hillary, so for the first time in
my life I voted for a republican. My loyalites no longer belong to a party, because they
are corrupt, and they hold women back in political partnership, and I will have nothing
to do with the negativeness they have protrayed on women in our society, and in politics.

B4112.....thank you for a great read! You are so right, I too, was so infuriated, that I also for the first time in my life cast a republican vote. Then I went and re-registered Independant, not sure what I'm going to do about that before 2012, but I was that angry.

Yeah, lots to think about..

I have always looked at every candidate and mostly voted on the Dem side, but have voted on the Repub side on occasion.

Our fundamental beliefs on social, fiscal/economic, immigration, gun-control, military/defense is unlikely to change. So, I do not expect to swing and register Republican. I am just glad to have not registered Dem. Being Indy is immensely liberating.

I dont think we should feel compelled to register in a party. The only reason to do that is to participate in the primary process.. or to influence the primary and caucus processes.. which of course really need improvement.. so if you have that opportunity, I would request that you do stay Dem if you are a Dem and work towards that change.. TeamHilaryClintonForum's has some activism work in development on that which is probably very worthwhile.

rachel, For sure, he is going to run. They are already revving up the Chicago machinery. His campaign manager, Mr.Plough, is already at his service as of a month or so ago..

It is going to take that rating to stay way way low for another 10 months before Dems see the light that they need Hillary Clinton on the top of the ticket in 2012.

He is planning a run but he won't do it. His poll numbers are way to low and if they remain that way he will not run again.  If he does run again there is really no point to have forums like this and women will never win the White House. That is the reality. If its not Hillary it will be no one. I guess women will take 20 years to win the White House.  Obama is going to **** things up for all Democrats and I personally will never work for another woman. Why will I do that when it seems to me all women are interested in doing is stabbing one another in backs.  We don't deserve to break that ceiling if we don't stop all this foolishness.
He will not run. I haven't been wrong about anything else and I am not going to be wrong about this.
Planning to run doesn't mean he will run He has stated and he means that he has no intention of running unless his numbers improve I don't see that happening.
I will pass it along to Team Hillary and the rest of the pro hillary blogs and forums that we are wasting our times because their will be no Hillary in 2012. SHE WILL NOT RUN AGAINST HIM NOR WILL SHE ENDORSE ANYONE WHO DOES. SHE ALSO WILL NOT RUN IN 2016 BECAUSE SHE WILL BE TO OLD.  SO REALLY THERE IS NO POINT IN EVEN HAVING THIS FORUM OR WASTING MY TIME BLOGGING FOR HILLARY. I GUESS I CAN GO BACK TO HAVING MY OLD LIFE.  THERE WILL BE NO PRESIDENT HILLARY CLINTON

Barack suceeds then women lose.  Its that simple because frankly I dont want another woman if not her then I don't care.  Women need to stop being chicken ****s and start fighting back or they will find themselves with no rights.

It will be a crucial test, and one of party loyalty. It was painful, but make no mistake
the democratic party doesn't own my vote, and neither does the republican party.

I know the bitterness, I know the humilation, and I know what shrew politics is all about.
The showdown next time will not be about a slowdown, cause I don't have 20 damn years left.  We are in battle to get to the white house, so let the war begin, and start arm twisting your sisters!

Be clear, when Hillary runs we will promise no comfort to our sisters who are against her.

Sorry you feel that way,  but I will always be intrested in the things Hillary does for the world whether she is president or not.  I beleive he will run again, and even if he doesn't no other democrat will win in 2012.  Not enough people will be behind the dem party if Obama quits and Hillary is not gonna run.

Rosanne Barr has posted very positively on Hillary Clinton lately. I greatly appreciate that.

Recently RA had asked if Rosanne would help with primary/caucus reform...and other initiatives.. and Rosanne has said yes. RA has posted it in TeamHillaryClintonForum.
