Unfortunity the forum is to difficult to use and it keeps asking for me to log in. I only log in once with my password. I am leary of joining any place that keeps asking for your password. I have to sadly not go there. I am sorry but I learned my lesson from HV I trust no one especially any site that keeps asking for my password.

here is their reply to a similar complaint
"They need to activate their account. It says so in the sign up form. If they have not activated their account and I think this is the same account you are talking about here then they cannot post. All boards have some form of activation in place. Either the user activates through an email link or it is admin activated. The board will continue to ask for a password as a security measure because the account is not activated. Spam bots sign up with fake emails and attempt to log on over and over with those fake emails. Hence the reason boards use account activation. I've had to use it with every board I ever signed up to. I made a post about this due to this one person forgetting to activate and attempting multiple log ons without activating. I went in and did it for them...it was only the one "new account" So nobody else has not activated. Just that one...if they check their email I bet there is an activation email in there. "
it is a cool site so i hope that helps solve the login issue. i activated 1 time via email and stay logged on my laptop like i do for hillarysworls
I dont think this one is for me. Its hard to see and right now I have my hands full with babies and teenage drama and trying to run this forum as well as blog for TNA so I will hardly go there. I don't want to be forum jumping at this point in my life. Nice site just not crazy about freeforums boards. I had one and still own the domain but I prefer activeboard. I loved V Bullutin but because they are to difficult to hack into I didn't want that one. Freeforums seem full of both ads and bots lol Not Obots but bots.

been lucky with my free bill clinton blog via blogger, not to many crazies posting
I think it's going to be strictly focused on Hillary 2012 for the most part. HR, I hope you find time to come over some day!! Actually having worked as a systems analyst I can tell you that phpbb is the hardest to hack. Vbulletin has great features but, some of those features are what make it easier to hack. You can't control embedded flash code but, you can with phpbb. It is disable and put into php code and the same with HTML. Recently a huge site of vbulletins was hacked. They had a lot of problems with it last year. Invision carries the same thing. Most people who code prefer phpbb. As far as the bots go they are a good thing to drive traffic to your site...you can disable them one by one in that format too. Free forums are based in Canada so if Hillary runs again it might mean not having a U.S. based *possibly obot run* host!! It seems like some sound decisions were made about that.
I've used a paid site called Blue Host that I didn't like as much as free forums however to each his own!! It's all about what YOU like to work with. Unlimited bandwidth and free will mean a few ads of course..unobtrusive I think though.
I saw Jen the Michigander there!! J.C. has done a lot of work.. hope to see some of you around one day. Lots to do though I know!!!!!
I had some issues with a "follower" online for a while..didn't post much of anywhere for quite a while too.
Take Care everyone!! Hope to post more often when I can but, I sure know how many things there are to do these days! See you round the Hillarysphere!! KEEP GOING!
Great forum there. Thanks for posting. And, Thanks Alice Paul for the invite.
Yes, phpBB is indeed one of the most secure implementations. I had researched this for a friend way back in July-August.. Posting is also easy, because their Quote works very well. and I have to agree with Alice Paul. Their processes for registration are very thorough.. you do not get in without clicking on activation; it is a good step to ensure no automatons! lol. And, yes, phpBB is very difficult to break into; there is a whole community out there working hard to keep it secure and everything seems to go through community testing before release.. so that is terrific. Also phpBB is lighter on the client (your laptop) than vB, in my experience. I have experienced a lot more denial of service from vB application. I think we can deal with two non-intrusive advertisements per page for a while for the tradeoff of starting low-cost and keeping it a true community place - we did even here as we started.
I think this Board (HillarysWorld) and http://teamhillaryclintonforum.forummate.com/index.php serve complimentary purposes with some overlap. I see that RA has added link to HW over there already. Great! I like that direct straightforward dealing.
We will have a lot to give to and take from each other. So, I am glad we have another great place.
I hope HMG changes her mind and activates her account there. I am only a member there just like here, but I do hope to see more of you there. Knowing Alice Paul, I am quite sure they will keep it a strong Hillary supporter team among admins and moderators. It would be great to have an umbrella place for all-things-Hillary! :) It will be great to promote her career, her image and possibly work towards a 2012/2016 run... but even otherwise, to be with more Hillary supporters.
Excelsior! Hope to see you all there! :)

This forum will remain my home base, but I plan to drop in regularly at Team Hillary, especially when I find relevant articles to post.
Likewise Jen! If my post above reads different, that was not meant to. I know this board will remain strongly pro-Hillary.. you all HMG and Super Moderators done a great job of posting articles about Hillary and replying on Hillary threads. That's what makes a great forum. I wish some of the moderators would participate more.. and be posting more pro-Hillary...
I strongly support people who are Hillary supporters in starting forums and bringing Hillary supporters to be linked together. TeamHillaryClintonForum is all about Hillary, past and present.. and that is nice thing to build and do activism from. So, will support that greatly.
JC/RA's forum looks quite good in terms of its goals and its potential for bringing Hillary supporters together, especially those who are loyal to her due to her policy positions.
So, especially in their starting stages, I intend to post articles in both places to help with getting started, but I do tend to hang out here LOL... with all of you my friends! I am likely to post here MORE/DIFFERENT than in TeamHillaryClintonForum simply because we have a larger news discussion focus - we have evolved into that.

I'm finding myself floating between Hillary's World, Speak Freely and the new Team Hillary site ( they have a very impressive home page and I love the audio effects ) Although I will visit and post there, I can't see myself planted there....they are Pro-Hillary all the way and although I would do anything and work my a-- off to see her as the next POTUS....I also know that for me, this time, it is not all about her. I want to be informed on a broader spectrum this time around. IMO
Of course HW will always be home base for me. I just LOVE you all! :)
I had been over at RTN too but they put out an email a few days ago that they would be deactivating accounts who are not posting at least once a month.......now, this will not effect me, as I think I've done at least that much there but then again I was a little taken back by the fact that they would want to bump anyone off their site at this point. Things are just getting started again and many will not be as involved now as they will be down the road. On top of that, although they may not be posting, they are reading and learning and to me that is part of what the forums are for. The more people that can be reached through our researching and posting the more informed voters we'll have at election time. IMO.
I wouldn't want to lose my forum base just because some didn't post enough. It struck a nerve with me I guess and I'm seriously thinking of deactivating myself.
I have also been asked to be involved in the new Speak Freely FB page they are developing and I'm very excited about that new venture so I guess I'm going to be busy enough as it is.
Looking forward to hopefully making a REAL CHANGE this time around. See you all one place or another....we all seem to be showing up in the same places anyway. LOL!

What I have learned in the past two-three years is there is no easy way to "change" opinion of fellow members within a forum -- it takes inordinate amount of work and over an extended period of time as they are equally or more activists like you. All the drama goes into the e-world and gets wasted.
But, we can channel our energy constructively by hanging together, positively energizing each other and becoming active comment posters on threads... i.e., comments on ORIGINAL articles where they are ORIGINALLY posted... and THAT I believe is also the focus of TeamHillaryClintonForum.
I am glad you keep this the home base - this is our friendship base. And you are also in http://teamhillaryclintonforum.forummate.com/ - that is a good thing -- I expect there will be good activism from there. :) That site could do some volunteer work from us as it is in early stage and RA and JC do need pro-Hillary contribution from us. We were very effective as bloggers on articles, and hopefully we get that chance again to make REAL CHANGE. Cannot wait!!
Glad you are here. :)
