Krauthammer: If Bayh Wants To Be President, Resigning Is Smart (FOX News, RCP / Youtube)

Charles Krauthammer analyzes Sen. Evan Bayh's retirement.

Bayh: No Chance I'll Switch Parties (CBS News, RCP)

CBS News: Members of Congress give all sorts of reasons for retiring, but the reason that Democrat Evan Bayh gave is starting to sound awfully familiar. The two-term Senator from Indiana said he just couldn't stand the partisan bickering in Washington any more.

"I've had a growing conviction that Congress is not operating as it should. There is much too much partisanship and not enough progress," he said yesterday, announcing he would not seek reelection this Fall.

Believe him after the whole Hillary statement about Palin which I believe wasn't a statement to Pubs but to Dems thinking of taking on Obama in 2012 that they will do so without her support.  Hillary is showing her constitancy in that statement because that is what she said about people primarying her husband back in 1996.
He or no other Moderate will take him on. Its politically risky enough to take on the incubment but for a Moderate its a large mountian.
Now You may see him if Obama doesn't run he is not going to win though lol
