In response to the destruction and devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti, First Lady Michelle Obama has joined The Advertising Council and the American Red Cross to launch a series of national public service advertisements (PSAs). The television and radio PSAs are designed to encourage all Americans to support relief efforts for the Haitian citizens impacted by the earthquake.
A good, succinct appeal by First Lady Michelle Obama.

OK, not to be too inappropriate, but does this mean that MO actually has a heart - that she is actually capable of thinking of someone's needs other than her own and BO's?
I'm glad she's doing something to help. The whole world is concerned about Haiti. Nice to see MO sharing in that concern.

I have to be honest here...I donated through Save the Children rather than the American Red Cross....I, to this day, still have a bad taste in my mouth with what went on with them after 9/11
VotedHillary, Thank you for sharing that. It always helps to know the personal experiences and perspectives. We all worry about what we are doing with our hard earned money. So, yes, we have to put it to good use.
freespirit, yeah, I thought that was a decent appeal. Both Pres.Obama and Michelle Obama have done fairly well in the context of Haiti. I look for any reason to give them some credit...

"I look for any reason to give them some credit..." I admire your sense of fair play, Sanders. That couldn't have been a very fruitful search. lol
