Breaking news (all in quotes):

Officials: 11 killed, plus gunman, in Fort Hood shootings

(CNN) -- Eleven people plus a gunman were killed and 31 were wounded after the gunman opened fire at Fort Hood in Texas on Thursday, a Fort Hood spokesman said.

The gunman was a soldier, and two other soldiers have been detained as suspects, said the spokesman, Lt. Gen. Bob Cone.

Cone said more than one shooter may have been involved.

I just got off the phone, and turned on tv.........horrible. I can't believe it!

The shooter, per Fox News: Major Malik Hadal Hasan, in his 30's, and was a army psychologist.

Have to wait for the facts, to come in, as the news and blogs are really putting
stuff out that I can't believe.

I just got home from work, and this was my first knowledge of this. How awful and sad. I'm watching Greta now, and they're saying 12 killed, but shooter in stable condition.

It's official - the world has gone crazy. Many, many prayers for these brave soldiers who lost their lives and their families. Losing someone in war is one thing. To have them slaughtered by one of their own is quite another. My heart breaks for all of them.

God Bless our wonderful military... this is just tragic beyond words.... to be gunned down by a muslim jihadist on a base in the US..... my heart hurts for all those families who lost someone...

and yes, this was a radical muslim jihadist, and we will not become like UK on fears of "racism" not say anything against muslim jihadists.... this kind of nonsense political corectness is what is causing so much trouble in UK. Extremism has to be called out and fought against.

Unprofessional and inappropriate as always.  He and the MSM can't get away with this one, the shooter committed this in the name of Allah. PCness is going to get us all killed if it contimues unchecked.
