Election 2009 (The Dame Truth) 11-04-09 A reminder that the Dems can and will play dirty

The Dame Truth makes some excellent points.  We PUMAs vowed to see the Dems held accountable for their theft of the nomination from Hillary.  And, tonight, was a big, satisfying step.  Was it worth seeing more conservatives in elected offices?  Hell yes, it was!  It will be even more important in 2010, to keep the promise we made over a year ago when the RBC stole Hillary's votes.  We vowed to ensure that the DNC would regret their sorry, loathsome actions of 2008.  Well, tonight, we are seeing some of the backlash of the actions of the Dems in 2008.  In 2010, we will be still be working to unseat Dems, particularly, those who sold their souls and their country down the river for a few coins from Pelosi's war chest.

Actually, neither party deserves our votes.  But, for now, we must use what power we have as citizens of this country, to make the senators and representatives understand that they work for us, and they can no longer count on our votes simply based on their party affiliations.  We have put country before party.

Election, 2009

Since last year, the mantra has been, “Wait til 2010…or 09!”  Well, folks, it’s just not that simple.  As we saw last year, “up close and personal,” it is no longer a mere matter of having an election.  The era of Win By Any Means has given new meaning to the word “Election,” replacing it with “Selection,” courtesy of corruption machines ACORN, SEIU and the DNC. And so, 2009, stepchild of the Great Hope of 2010, has approached fairly quietly, save for the NY 23 District race from which Dede Scozzafava recently withdrew to endorse a Democratic candidate, thus almost guaranteeing a victory for Don Hoffman, a conservative Republican, and the New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial races.  As expected, however, ACORN and SEIU are already busy in New Jersey and it has been reported that Democrat incumbent Jon Corzine will win via fraudulent absentee ballots.  It remains to be seen, but as we already know all too well, the Demagogues Democrats seem to stop at nothing these days, from ignoring the Constitution to using strongarm tactics against anyone who crosses them or speaks out against their agenda.
So, stay tuned…vote early and often…[j/k there] and keep speaking out–together we can get the Truth out, and remember: we are not mere shills for the Powerful!  We ARE The People and we WILL prevail! (snip)

The Dems deserved to get their arse handed to them on a platter, no doubt about that. But it's hard for me to be happy for the Republicans. By doing nothing last year, they played their own unique role in getting 0 elected and I cannot forgive them for that. Or for eight years of Bush.
