NY-23 is critical, and it's all because of Sarah Palin. Here is the text, George Soros and his friends will match you 2:1 if you send *help* by Midnight Tuesday.
Remember all those socialist-hollering, Glenn Beck-worshiping, tea party wing nuts from this summer's town hall meetings? If Sarah Palin gets her way, one of them could soon be a member of Congress.
Next week marks one year since President Obama was elected. The amount of money we have in the bank will be used as an instant referendum on his first year.
With Sarah Palin out there raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to stack Congress with those tea party lunatics, the media is watching to see how Grassroots Democrats respond.
Help us raise $500,000 in response to Sarah Palin's fundraising for the tea party nut jobs. For every dollar you give before Midnight Tuesday, a group of Democrats will match it with $2 of their own, tripling your impact.
Tuesday night's deadline is a critical test of our muscle.
I've been getting calls all week from media pundits asking me if Palin's fundraising means that all those tea partying members of the right-wing fringe finally have the upper hand in their fight to bring back the George Bush days of disaster.
I need you to help us respond in the strongest possible terms.
Help us raise $500,000 in response to Sarah Palin's fundraising for the tea party nut jobs. For every dollar you give before Midnight Tuesday, a group of Democrats will match it with $2 of their own, tripling your impact.
Send a message to Sarah Palin and those tea party nutcases who think they can retake Congress. But we only have until Midnight Tuesday to act.
Thanks,
James Carville
P.S. Next week marks one year since President Obama was elected. The amount of money we have in the bank will be used as an instant referendum on his first year.
That's the second email like that Carville has sent in a week. I got one a little different from that several days ago. These guys are running scared, aren't they? They slam Palin at every turn because they are afraid. They are desperate for money. Good. I love that line about the media watching to see how the grassroots of the Dem party respond. HA! What grassroots? Donna told the base to "stay home" when we asked for fair treatment for Hillary in 2008.
Message to the party - stay scared.

what a bunch of fking fools the dims have turned into..
GUESS WHAT CARVILLE?? I AM ONE OF THOSE "TEA PARTY LUNATICS"...... IN THE REAL WORLD.... WE ARE KNOWN JUST AS AVERAGE AMERICANS SCARED FOR OUR COUNTRY...
so, by all means... continue to insult us.... continue to insult sarah palin... I have and would contribute to Sarah before I ever give a penny to the UN-dnc AKA the marxist party!

Absolutely. I heard a Dim raving Friday on an Oregon radio station about Orly Taitz. That's a bee-yoo-ti-ful thing, because if Orly was having no effect, they wouldn't take the time to talk about her on the air. Which has the effect, really, of making people say, "Who is Orly Taitz, and why is this person losing their marbles over her?"
As you say, FreeSpirit, the Dims should stay VERY scared.
And ssmith, I'm glad you pointed out Carville's repeated use of the phrase "nutjob" or the like. Who's the nutjob when he is repeatedly insulting the people he's asking money for? Surely he's smart enough to know that many "teapartiers" such as my self are, or were, dyed-in-the-wool Dems!!

Oh yes... I forgot about Brazilla's "Note to Base: stay home"
well guess what Brazilla??.... not only have we NOT stayed home.... we have left the undemocratic party neighborhood!
I certainly am no longer a democrat.... everytime I get a pre-paid envelop from the undemocratic party... I sent it back with lots of washers to weigh it down and then I print out the brazilla's email ... AND I print out my receipt of contributions to sarah palin and stuff that in that envelop and mail it back....
And in the letter where it says "Democratic" party... I scatch it off and write "Undemocratic/Marxist Party"
How insulting! I'm a nutjob? If I do any political donations, it will go to Sarah!
You all are right, they're running scared, and GOOD! I will never forget how we were treated by our own party. My heart still hurts and I'll never go back.
Millions, and I do mean MILLIONS are pooring out at the tea party express tour this month. They're doing the west and south on this trip. Just amazing how many of us there are.
I'm really surprised by Carville. He's a staunch Clinton loyalist and also very smart. Hmm ....I wonder if this is just part of an act .... lull Obama and his obots into thinking Carville's a "good" foot soldier so that he can remain close enough and be "trusted" by them.
This man fought tooth and nail to prevent Dean from getting the DNC chairmanship because he knew what the progressives were up to.
I know this is something you don't want to hear, but I got a very similar letter from President Bill Clinton. It's so upsetting. I have it sitting on my desk, because I want to write back, but I have to wait until my blood stops boiling.
I have been out there with the patriots and they are the most loyal people to our country.
They know the laws and the constitution. They understand our rights. They carry the American flag. They have never protested before. They are very hard working people and believe in the American dream. Many of them are military and ex-military. Many of them are Independents. And, there are more Democrats (like my husband and myself) out there, then the news will EVER let YOU know! They are proud Americans and recite the pledge allegiance at the drop of a hat. They are the most knowledgeable about our American history and they believe in America. They love our country more than any other group of people. They are the true patriots!
For anyone to make fun of these people, it is a complete outrage. To call them "tea-baggers" and "birthers" is very offensive, and frankly I have had enough of these so-called democrats acting like complete fools. I'm so embarrassed to be a democrat now that we are telling people that we are Independents. We are still registered as democrats
so that we can get these crazy letters and emails to respond to.
I'm going to let the cat out of the bag. I confess. The bulk of the folks attending the Tea Parties across America are good, old-fashioned, God-fearing Christians. They work hard, love their families, and love their country. If they are racist, you cannot prove it to me.
I'm traveling across America on the Tea Party Express II. The mostly white audiences at every rally embrace me with open arms, especially after hearing me proclaim myself an American rather than a politically correct, hyphenated African-American. These people love me and call me brother because we sharea love for our country and the principles which have made her great. At every rally, I feel like I am with family.
Countless numbers of attendees have told me they are praying for me. Somehow, I don't think you would hear such a comment at rallies hosted by the Left. Such rallies display very few, if any, American flags. Nor would they ever consider honoring our troops. Our Tea Party Express rallies enjoy a sea of American flags. We also feature a tremendously moving tribute to our veterans, active troops, and their families at every rally.
In every city, we (the Tea Party Express team) hear anger, stories of financial suffering, and fear of the Obama Administration. Many, especially the senior Americans and elderly immigrants who have lived under tyranny, are heartbroken over the Obama Administration's race to socialism and disdain for our Constitution.
Our mission on the Tea Party Express is to give hope and inspire these patriots to fight back. And they are fighting back big time, everyone in their own small or large way.
A 74-year-old woman has just begun writing a weekly conservative column in her local newspaper. An elderly gentleman has launched an organization to fight corrupt politicians. He currently has two members. Large numbers of first-timer conservative candidates for political office are sprouting up all over the country. Moms across America are organizing to restore and preserve conservative values for their kids. Thousands are hand-writing letters to Washington.
An elderly gentleman who survived cancer four times told me, "My time is about over. I joined the Tea Party Movement for my grandchildren."
At our Tea Party Express rally in Carson City, Nev., it was freezing cold. Still, hundreds showed up. A gentleman gave free cups of coffee to everyone. His coffee machine was powered by a generator. Again, there was that feeling of family. We're all in this together.
In Portland, Ore., the hall where we held our Tea Party Express rally was packed with 3,000 patriots, with another thousand outside. Everyone was polite and united in our cause: Take Back America!
Folks, this movement is totally passion-driven. No political party, marketing firm, or single organization could have started and sustained it. People have begun to realize that America made a huge mistake electing Barack Hussein Obama. Despite being ignored by most of the mainstream media, the Tea Party Movement is growing.
All of the speakers and performers on the Tea Party Express have received threats and hate mail. The Left knows we are inspiring and energizing the patriots. They want to shut us up. I am extremely proud to be numbered amongst this great team of patriots committed to God and country.
At every rally I perform my original "American Tea Party Anthem." Then I sing my parody to the song "New York, New York," titled "2010." To make it fun, I ask a dozen ladies from the audience to come on stage. The sound man hits the music and the women instinctively form a chorus line. The audience goes crazy when I sing the lyrics, "We're gonna vote them out...and Take Back America in 2010."
The first Tea Party Express tour focused on the big-city, major markets. This second tour is through the heartland small towns. Still, the crowds have been surprisingly large. People are desperate. They need hope. Somehow, we feel our purpose is stronger and more important than we did during our first tour.
It has been difficult and uncomfortable. And yet, we feel honored to do it: traveling, meeting, inspiring, and bringing hope to our brother and sister patriots across America. We truly are all in this together.
He's losing the midas touch..............he went over to Afhgan as campaign manager, and he lost! And that's not the first time he's lost in other countries as a political election manager. Abudallah dropped out.
Make no difference now, the dems will suffer come 2010.

And remember he wore PUMA tennis shoes at the Democratic National Convention?? Who knows...
At any rate, does anyone have his email? I'd like to send him the article our dear Destiny posted:

KISS MY BIG, CELLULITE-COVERED ASS!!!! Since when is it ok to call people "tea party wing nuts" just because they don't agree with what is going on in our government? Oh....that's right - it's ok for YOU to do it. If we call anyone anything or say anything against Omoron we're all racist! And please.....STOP reminding us that it was a year ago since Oasshat was elected. I'm trying to forget that horrid night. It's difficult though since every webpage flashes "Obama, Obama, Obama!!!!" Every newspaper has his ugly, frickin' mug on the front page it seems. For crying frickin' out loud....I can't even go to Sam's Club without his face screaming back at me from the book aisle. How in the hell can anyone forget he was elected? Every waking moment is filled with his image. I swear that soon I am going to see his face on toilet paper. Of course, I would GLADLY buy that and use it often. I spend most days nauseated at the absolute disgusting display of ass-kissing that goes on by his cronies. I keep hoping I'll wake up from the nightmare.
I think Carville and Bill - and Hillary, for that matter, are Democratic Party loyalists till the end. Actually, IMO - Bill and Hill would have a very difficult time escaping the party at this point - even if they chose to do so. Bill will forever be a former Democratic President. Hillary - a former Dem first lady, senator, and SOS. Their political connections are with the party, and the moderate Dem leaders for the most part are allies. If either Hill or Bill denounced the party, they would lose their connections and their longstanding network of Dem heavy hitters in every state. Any future plans HIllary might have for running for any political office would not likely materialize.
As for Carville, even though he's committed to some of the Dem ideals, for the most part, IMO, it's about winning or losing. If the Dems lose - he, as a strategist- looks bad.
I don't particularly like the fact that they all remain party people, but I understand it. I think that because we all (or most of us) have denounced the party, and determined that country must come before party, we may have a difficult time understanding when other Dems, particularly the Clintons (who were hurt worse by O and the Dems than anyone) don't see this as we do. Actually, the reality is, we have the luxury of leaving the party and voting for whomever. We're in a very different position than that of a candidate - who must align herself with a party in order to get elected. Though the Independents are growing, at this point, a candidate must receive help from Repub or Dem party in order to be successful. They need the party money, support, endorsement, etc.
We are changing that fact, I believe. Change is coming, and we are on the front -end of the movement to say forget the party, the politics, the rhetoric, and the self-serving game playing. We want honest people who represent the interest of the people - not their party or their re-election campaigns. We want patriots - not pimps. We want people who will not sell their souls and us down the river for a few bucks from the party and a speech or two come re-election time.
I believe that we will see some major improvement in the pol process in the future. We just have to keep working, blogging, sharing, supporting each other, and raising unmitigated, almighty HELL about the corruption, the media bias and the sexism. These travesties are unacceptably - from either party.
