That is a research thread and is a collection of great articles on Brooksley Born - articles are from 2008-2009 once the market crashed and there is realization that she was correct on the need to regulate OTC Derivatives.

And she is absolutely someone to admire.  A person with courage who spoke to power and voiced her viewpoint with professionalism and dignity... and her viewpoint should have been listened to.  I hope they do listen to her going forward.

 

She was recently (June-July) appointed to a commission to investigate the mess of OTC Derivatives and the financial crisis.

I still can't open your link, Sanders. I was able to open the link to "The Warning" posted by Building 4112. I'll go to TRN and open it there. I want to print it for a couple of people. Thanks for posting this. Just wondering if anyone else could still not open after Sanders moved the quote.
