I've been listening (which is usually a no no) to Cnn (AC 360, Anderson Cooper, A woman's nation changes everything) And MSNBC interview with Maria Shriver, the Shriver Report, founder of A Woman's Nation, with President John Podesta of the Center for American Progress, discussing women as a breadwinner, and the spotlight on wage gaps, and traditional occupations, etc. she doesn't exactly set the example, given that she thinks she can use her cell phone while driving, but I can't.
What was said on by Chuck Todd, that the bench hasn't been met by women, and what he does is look at who is in politics (governor, senators, judges etc), somehow he left out the woman who could run as president being a community organizer!
I just have such resentment when I listen to them wanting to claim and grab up monies and expand on "A woman's nation", knowing damn well they kicked Hillary in the teeth, and did nothing to stop sexism.
I mean, how much did McCain pay his female staff as compared to Obama? Remember that?

it's all bogus "politicking" for them. They don't care about women's issues at all. Shriver hasn't had to overcome a damned thing her whole life. And her stance against Hillary HURT a LOT of women's causes. She's got a lot of false ego to be sitting up there touting women's issues at all. She does not represent me. I do not WANT her to. Having her speak instead of real strong women leaders like Hillary and others around the world is an insult to me and to a lot of other women.
Right on Alice, she doesn't speak for me, meanwhile millions of women are in breadlines, and being abused. And to think, her response to the cell phone was to donate it to a woman's shelter center.........yea, this is more of their crop rotation plan for 2010!

I'm so sorry you suffered through that, Bldg. They're full of $#!t! There is a faction of not-too-nice people that are intent on keeping good people like Hillary down.
