Clinton Statement: Passing of Senator Ted Kennedy

Senator Ted Kennedy was one of the most influential leaders of our time, and one of the greatest senators in American history. His big heart, sharp mind, and boundless energy were gifts he gave to make our democracy a more perfect union.

No matter how betrayed he felt when Kennedy endorsed Obama, President Clinton still has the ability to make a sincere statement at the passing of Kennedy. He may have made some mistakes in both his personal and public life, but he remains a man of great character in so many ways.

Hillary made a statement too.

I read that and I just thought to myself she is so considerate considering he called her a racist.  The Clinton's can rise above any situation.

HC and BC have good hearts.  This was the right thing to say at this time, despite the pain and hurt his actions caused them in the 2008 election.  I don't expect that they will ever say anything negative about the people who betrayed them.  By the way, what statement did BO make regarding Kennedy's death?  I haven't heard anything from him, but then again I haven't really been looking.  Just wondering though.
