There is also a You-tube of Beck's show.

"The left is using the Cloward-Piven Strategy of orchestrated crisis by “overwhelming the system,” Glenn Beck said on his TV program.

“I don’t believe in coincidence,” said Beck. “When I see huge bill after huge bill after huge bill — all hurried and given the same ‘emergency, must pass now’ label, my reaction is — whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down. Why the rush?”

“Clearly, this is a strategy and it is working,” said Beck.

The radical left-wing academics Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven explained their plan to end poverty in a 1966 article in the Nation magazine. The strategy “starts with the idea that there is a wide gap between the entitlements that poor people are eligible for and the entitlements that they are actually collecting,” Beck said.

They urged that as many people as possible be placed on government welfare rolls in order to eliminate poverty. “The only way to accomplish that is through a massive multi-city education campaign making heavy use of the media,” he said.

As the welfare burden increases on governments, a crisis begins in the cities and rapidly spreads nationwide forcing “the government to move quickly to create a new program for direct income distribution: Marxism,” Beck said. He added:

If you think all of these unread thousand-page bills are just part of a runaway out-of-control government, I don’t think it is. It’s meant to overwhelm the system. I mean, how can you fight a stimulus package when there is a giant health care bill alongside cap-and-trade all going full throttle at you at the same time? What happens when one or all of these massive bills pass?

Pat Caddell, formerly a Democratic pollster, said he doesn’t believe that Democrats are trying to collapse the system as part of a deliberate strategy. “I think they’re flooding the zones, to use a football metaphor…setting out so many things and nobody can cover it all.”

In the past when a new president came in, for the first six months “people are still trying to find out where bathrooms were,” said Caddell. “Where are all these pieces and programs coming in all this kind of detail? Where do you get 1,000 pages or 1,300 pages one after the other” for legislative proposals in such a short period of time, he said."

I saw this show on Monday.  Excellent and everyone should watch the remaining days this week.  Glenn is doing a series of five days on what is transpiring in America.  I haven't had a chance to see yesterday's show yet, but from what I understand, it is another really informative show.

The question was asked as to "who exactly is writing these bills?"  They apparently were ready to "go" almost immediately after Obama was sworn in.  Things are moving a wrap speed.  These bills did not show up from nowhere.  They are in detail and consists of hundreds and hundreds of pages.  It is obvious that they have been worked on by "someone" for sometime.

The bills are so massive that they are able to "hide" items within it that may never be addressed or discussed, but will get passed if the bill makes it through.

Pat Cordell was excellent in his assessment and the worry showed on his face and demeanor.

Our country is in deep trouble.

I don't like it when people rush bills because frankly all bills should be debated in congress so that the people know what they are up too. I would like my congress person to read the bills and making them over 1000 pages.  What in the world would make you write a bill with 1000 pages.
