Write your senators and congress-people. Ask others to do so also.
Provide in the budget (which will cost a lot less than 1 trillion dollars) money for individuals to pay for their own chosen health care insurance by submitting insurance and other information to the gov't. health care dept. (I assume it would have to be created) and have the government pay the premiums, not for individual procedures, etc.
After verifying the coverage and the insurance company, the government would pay the premiums directly to the health ins. co.
This would prevent all the debate about end of life clauses and everything else.
It could probably be a simple 20 pg. or less bill that everyone understands pretty well, ESPECIALLY those voting on it who admittedly haven't read the current mess of a bill!
