Mayor Bloomberg is talking to the press right now.  The Helicopter was a touring helicopter and had an Italian family on board.  The plane was a small plane, I think that there were three on board.  There were children on board. 

They have found two bodies.  They can see some debris under water that they think is the helicopter, but it is only 2 feet visibility and the part of the river that they are in is up to 30ft. deep.

Bloomberg is talking about how small planes flying over the Hudson usually use the same frequency and they get a card to fly in this airspace.  And I think he said the max height is 1000ft.

They have changed this from a rescue to a recovery mission.  They can see some bodies in the wreckage.

They say that the plane hit the helicopter from eye witnesses on the ground.

They say that the plane was also a tour.
