I've been at CGP and I think it is okay. There are a couple bots and they can be annoying. However, there are a lot of Hillary people there as well, so I might continue to post there. I do await the return of HV though.

The HV and CGP have completely different missions and therefore it is understandable that there can be overlap for members. Partyfreeparty has a different focus, so does Hillaryvillagers.net.
I just tend to stay in one place because who has the time outside of trying to earn a living?
I post occasionally over there and they don't really ever give me any crap. I am never personal but I make it clear that for me, there are NO good sides to Obama..The Obama posters there, when they reply to a post of mine, have not been rude with me (Of course, they all know what a cranky heiffer I am anyway....My husband says I have a "Concelaed Weapon"...my tongue...he thinks he's hysterical...after 30 years, what are ya gonna do???) They were really giving it to KBentley...They really get their panties in a bind if you mention Hitler...I personally believe there is much that can be compared between the rise of the Third Reich and the Obama Machine...text book stuff and there for anyone who wants to look. Control the press...government takeover of businesses, all citizenary to look and act the same (no too fat, no smokers, no soda pop drinkers...) Rush through legislation that ignores the populous...lots of comparisons. I spent a year reading everything I could find about the build up to World War II (Both Germany and Japan) and the entire war period, including The Berlin Airlift, etc. it was pretty scarey when superimposed over todays events.
Anyway, posting there with the ardent Obama Followers (they HATE that word "Followers" by the way...) is not for the faint of heart. It is so much "we won...you lost...nanner, nanner, nanner, please let us torture you." "White is black and black is white" and one member actually admitted ON THE FORUM that he knew Obama had absolutely no experience and voted for him anyway. I told him that if I were he, I would never admit that to a living soul...
i go a lot of places i like to get around..i love this new site.

YX Dem, Thanks for sharing that.. And, thanks for being a brave soldier. Yes, there is need for that bravery to go participate out there.
I hope they see the light as this President is really pulling the country down quite fast..

It bothers me still to know that I/others are blamed for leaving HCF. I had no idea he was planning to let the obama people in. I did not want to be around them then and I don't want to be around them now. So I left his site. He did nothing to me personally. He changed the forum to something I personally did not like, so I left.
The Village was a welcome haven because they gave back what M took from me/us.
I have seizure disorder and cannot look at all that flashing crap he has there.

Shadow, No need to be bothered. Many of us did not know that he would switch it so abruptly to let in people who simply feasted on our tears that day. We were hurting and their glea and gibes was salt to wounds. In fact, I hung on thinking I will learn to accept and get along.. and I stayed there till the end of the year until the site shut down permanently, with opportunity for us to express how we want to be notified if and when CGP came back up. I provided the input.
Internet is a fluid world. If we do not like what is happening on a Forum, we move on. There is no need to be guilt-laden.. nor to load someone else with guilt. That applies doubly so for moderators and administrators. Go back and greet the people once in a while, even if by PM; it does not hurt. Think of it like passing through a lane in the neighborhood where a once-friend continues to live. You are not enemies; you are simply not buddies anymore.
Common courtesy works the same way in e-world as in real-life.

Ditto. I still post frequently at CGP, but I also post at STFU and here. I like reading a variety of different posters to get a broader picture of what is going on in the electorate's head.
Just want to be fully prepared for 2012....and Hillary's next run?
