Woot! Glad to see so many Villagers here again. It's been real tough going through the past week without my daily visit to the Village.
And super special thanks to HMG and Optix for putting together this forum for us.
I still won't give up hope that the original Village won't come back to life some time. But at least in the interim, we can have a place to come together again.
Happy to see so many familiar faces! Happy, happy, happy!!!

There were so many people who worked together yet independently to try to find out some things. Optix and I were looking for emails then we find out others were so there was this nice little email chain going on. I noticed the Bword tweeting about looking for lost Hillarysvillage people we all started doing it. So many places opened up their sites to us but we need our own site. That's what this is our site.
HMG, thank you so much! Friends, I can't tell you how happy I am to be with you all again. I've been making a complete fool out of myself in the neatherworld without you all.
Coming here reminds me of a picture I saw of a soldier kissing the ground when he came home.

I joined twitter just to try to find you all. I am so delighted to have found this site!
We got on tweeter and facebook and used an email chain There were so many sites that were involved in helping us get together and in the wilderness I found some nice sites that I will visit. We can find each other the way we did proves to me that we are going to get a woman in the White House because we are a determined crew.

I have been so lost without HV and forced myself to visit CGP, which I guess ended up being a good thing because there's where this person PM'd me with the link to here. I wasn't a big poster at HV, BUT I lurked there and visited several times a day to keep up on things!
Thanks for bringing me "home" again!!

Hi There, Still4Hill!
Glad you came over. Very glad you are here. Yes, we seriously need to work on this. Look around and look through the entire roster of representatives and there is no one who comes even close to Hillary in stature, experience, talent, brilliance, name recognition and acceptance across both parties. What's more she has the correct focus. She is already recognized as a leader and a tremendous diplomat round the world.
So, I say YES WE WILL!!!!

Hi all! YES! HMG, that is the goal and we needed to start yesterday! The republicans are 9 or 10 months ahead of us. We need to be prepared IN CASE!
Maybe she won't "pull a Bobby" but what if she DOES? We need to be ready, and we have already found ourselves stuck in the mud at the starting gate. Being open and accepting of the Obama people won't drive Hilalry in - so CGP is not where we belong.
But also we must not be distracted by those trying to push Palin in our faces. She is nothing like Hillary. My goal is not to get "a woman" in the Oval Office. It is to get Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton in the Oval Office.
She is the one. The only one. I am sick of all the republicans we let into the Village. No! It's not about getting a woman in. It's about getting the most talented and brillaint woman in. That is Hillary!

Don't forget that there are Pubs that are part of the Village who would give their right hand to get Hillary into office. If it was Hillary vs. Sarah in 2012 all the better, but Hillary would have my loyalty, no question. Many feel the same.
We cannot get caught up in bashing Sarah thinking that it clears the way for Hillary. What was done and is being done to her is sexist and malicious any way you look at it. I want Sarah to be successful in showing, as Hillary has, that a woman from any walk of life has every right to run for public office and be measured by her policy and her platforms not her hair or her body.
Hillary has been maligned by a certain group of Pubs and I have written to the GOP to ask that they remove her name from their ad campaigns against the current administration because maligning her is not constructive for what they want to accomplish. They need to place the blame exactly where it belongs, with Obama and Axelrod. Just like the Dems blamed W and Rove. Hillary is more popular than ever before and I pray every day that in 2012 she FINALLY takes O to task at the DNC.
Thanks for addressing this OPTIX.
I don't like trashing Sarah, I know it was Hillary that brought us together, but there is enough of us who support both women.

I've been a pretty strong supporter of Sarah all along, and continue to be. That said, I don't think there is (or should be) any requirement that people on here (or the old Hillarys Village) should support Sarah too - just please do not support the more unfair attacks on her.
If anybody wants to respectfully argue that any of her policy positions is misguided, I would be more than happy to engage you and respectfully point out why you are (FULL OF ****) mistaken. (Just kidding about the paranthetical).
But mocking her son, questioning her motherhood or womanhood, or any of the other plainly misogynistic attacks against that have been leveled against her in the past - I would hope that everybody on this forum, Republican or Democrat, and Liberal or Conservative, would condemn those kind of attacks on Sarah, Hillary, or any other woman.
