This is coming from a Michelle Obama diehard. As one of my friends on FB stated, it almost sounds as if they're giving BHO the leeway to leave quietly. And IMO, that wouldn't be a bad thing at all. In fact, I think a quiet exit for Obama would be best for Hillary's 2012 campaign and for the country.

I've been keeping a close eye on President Obama lately. He's really thinking hard about something. He has that Professor like look on his face. Since the Middle East Peace plan meetings started last week in Washington there has been a lot of talk of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton running for President in 2012. Somebody even released a commercial that you can view below.

She really got it off to a great start. It got me wondering. Politics is a strange beast. Is it conceivable that Barack Obama might do something unprecedented. Polls are showing a dip in Obama's numbers. If America is still in the "recession blues" when 2012 rolls around. Could the Obama administration do the old change of face move and support Hillary Clinton in 2012. In which case President Obama would probably slide to the International scene. Which he seems much more at ease with.

I'm going to keep my ears open. Already some commercials have started to show up in some markets. If Hillary Clinton continues to shine during the Middle East peace talks. It could set her up to land right in the White House. If she performs well in the Middle East and keeps her momentum. Obama could support her and slip out the back door. It all depends on how he's feeling when the time comes. "Health care" and the "Gulf Oil spill" took a lot out of him.

It would hardly be unprecedented....see LBJ.  He refused to run for a second term in order to keep his "legacy" from being tarnished with a major thrashing in 1968.  I think the Ego Obama may fear the same in 2012...an embarrassing defeat that will hurt his legacy a la Carter.

But I wonder if Hillary will run?  Or if the far-left Dem party backstagers already have their next "messiah" the masses will have shoved down their throats by the "tingle down my leg" media?

Well, it's hopeful news that this is even being discussed, imo. It's always presumed that the incumbent potus will run again.

VH, if the progs did try to run someone else, in the event of an Obama step-down, I think there would be enough outrage among us Hillary supporters that a multitude of us would march on the Dem head-quarters, and nip that idea in the bud. They screwed over us once. I don't think the Dems would stand for it again. Most Dems know the progs are the reason for the mess we're in, and they will not tolerate another far-left candidate, at least not in the next election - jmho.

I don't think the Dem Party would exist anymore if they tried to pull a stunt like that again. And who would they run? They got away with so much crap in 2008 because BHO is African-American and the majority of his detractors were terrified to speak up in fear of being branded racist. That strategy wouldn't work with a white candidate, or with a candidate from any other ethnic or racial background.

Isn't it amazing, though, that this Michelle Obama admirer said so many nice things about Hillary? That wouldn't have happened in 2008. This is where Hillary's taking the high road really pays off.

On the other side of the coin, I am seeing more examples of Hillary bashing from the right. They must be afraid of something. I wonder what it is?

LOL, I was a bit confused by the title.  Ok, it is an admirer of FLOTUS that writes that.

Yes, it is the correct question to ask... and needs to be asked repeatedly and often in the coming weeks.  The dentist DeJean of Chicago has spurred a conversation.  Keep it going.

Any alternate to Hillary is not likely to work for 2012.  If Hillary is on the ballot and if she is staunchly supported by all of DNP, there is a chance for victory.
