I am glad it is in the hands of a these two people who are both early and firm supporters of Hillary Clinton - I recall that they supported Hillary very early in her campaign and stayed with Hillary.

Newsweek screwed up when it went from a weekly NEWS magazine to a news-analysis magazine this year...with an unashamed left-slant.  The editor in charge of this decision is also gone with this buyout.  GOOD. I used to subscribe faithfully to this magazine, but quit on it after 2000.  I will play a wait and see game for how it will now be formatted before I subscribe again.

Best mag for a weekly round-up of the news is The Week....really does strike a fair balance.

Here is Sidney Harman's address to Newsweek from yesterday - I just found it at Newsweek. He is quite impressive.

VH, Yes, I used to like and subscribe to Newsweek.. but in 2008 I cancelled a whole bunch of magazines including my alltime favorite Time. LOL.

I really havent read "The Week" but will give it a look see. Thanks.

I stopped reading the mag when they went crazy for Barack. Nice to see that it may become more moderate.

yeah, but did I just read over the weekend that Newsweek lost Fareed Zakaria as a writer? If that is so, that is not a good development. Zakaria is one of the better writers that Newsweek has featured.
