Former president Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are busy: Not only are they celebrating the wedding of Hillary's longtime aide today and planning daughter Chelsea's July 31 wedding, they're also looking to buy a new home: "Sources told The Post the Clintons are planning to trade their almost-modest suburban Chappaqua home for a sprawling $10.9 million estate in the bucolic Westchester town of Bedford Hills, complete with 20 acres of gorgeous land surrounded by New York's elite."

The home, owned by a real estate firm owner who recently declared bankruptcy, is 7,000 square feet with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half baths. Besides a wood-paneled library, his-and-her dressing rooms in the master suite (the hers is two stories), and wood-beamed ceilings, there's a pool, poolhouse, two guesthouses, a stable, a dressage ring, and an artists' studio. That means there's enough room for the Secret Service!

And room for grandkids, someday. smile

Damn but why does anyone need six full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.  How come so many bathrooms.

I have no idea why so many bathrooms. The only houses of that size I've ever been inside were historical (i.e. built before bathrooms as we know them were invented) and I was there as a tourist.

Maybe some of the bathrooms are connected to home offices, the laundry room, or some other rooms that would be used primarily by employees and not the family? Again, I have no personal experience in these matters.

Gosh, I wish I had a bathroom for every bedroom in the house.  And our house bedrooms are not that big either. LOL.

Yeah, when it is a big house, naturally more bathrooms. You dont want your big visitors to share bathrooms!!  More importantly, you dont want your family members to have to share bathroom with guests.

BTW, I thought the pictures are gorgeous. My kid says wants to go horseback riding in their yard! LOL.  We might just drive by before the dignatories arrive.. LOL

Absolutely! Meanwhile, we will enjoy having them as neighbors! LOL 

I was thinking they might be planning on hosting some of their wedding guests in that house.. but it may be too soon to conclude on the house and get the house in order for a whole big wedding.. Then again, it is the Clintons!
