I think these numbers reflect the public response to his oil spill speech in the Oval office that liberals even hated.
I think Obama's decision today on McChrystal will raise his poll numbers. Most democrats and many GOP like his choice to use the architect of the Iraq surge as the leader of the war in Afghanistan.

I agree, Jen. Although, the libs don't like Petraeus, which could impact polls negatively to a small degree, I think BO will he receive a small bump from the Petraeus' appointment.
