Ain't she the gal who was supposed to be sooooo polarizing?

Here is a weekend factoid for you: among all living politicians in the United States who have ever held elected office, Hillary Clinton the most popular.
That's right. Ever since she became Secretary of State, her favorables have soared into the mid-60's, putting her well clear of any other statewide officeholder in the country. The only national figures who are viewed as favorably as Clinton are Michelle Obama, Colin Powell, and David Patraeus. However, they have never run for office, which invariably lowers your favorables.

Hillary Clinton will turn 69 in in the final week of the 2016 campaign, which makes her slightly younger than Ronald Reagan when he first was elected in 1980. Also, as Secretary of State, a major presidential candidate, a U.S. Senator, and First Lady, she is also probably more credentialed than any other potential Presidential candidate, too. There is even talk she may become the next Secretary of Defense, further adding to her credentials.

It ends with more talk of Hillary running as BooBoo's veep in 2012. Hopefully that will not happen. As far as my vote is concerned, veep is not enough to make me vote for four more years of Obama's incompetence. 2016 is a perfect time for Hillary to run for her second term.

I'm still inclined to think she will run in '12. In order to do that, she would have to resign as SoS in the 3rd year of zero's term. I am even more inclined to believe she'll run in '12 in light of her recent almost-critical comments about the deficit. Since Bill balanced the budget and left office with a surplus, I think it would draw voters to her, thinking she would do the same. Not to mention her fantastic approval ratings. I think the voters see her differently now.

Hell, no to support for an Obama second term - even with Hillary on the ticket as VP. If she does agree to run on a ticket with him, IMO, she can hang up any future political ambitions. She will be much more tied to him and held more accountable for his actions as VP than she currently is as SOS. She does not owe it to the Dems to pull his rear-end out of the tank - which would be the reason for running her as VP.
