This is a pictoral history. I saw this the other day and found it very interesting. Worth sharing with our children.

Since the days of Dolly Madison, the job of presidential spouse has often involved picking a signature issue


No mention of Hillary Clinton. They may have decided to exclude her from this given her current role.

Yikes!  No Hillary???  8 years she was the first lady and did more remarkable work than all the other first ladies combined and she is not mentioned out of 9 women, but yet mrs. obama is!!!!  What the heck is mrs. obama's cause?  Telling the world that her skinny daughters are fat?  

Hillary was excluded on purpose - plain and simple.

Mrs Obama and the rest of the First Ladies are not like Mrs. Clinton Mrs. Clinton is going on and doing things as Secretary of State and Senator as well as she will be a future POTUS.  She did wonderful as First Lady but I prefer to see her highlighted in positions that do not require you to be married to someone to hold that position.  I, however, want to see Bill Clinton listed in that book one day and then Todd Palin and Shelia Jackson Lee's husband.wink
