I wondered what it is... and then it occurred to me.  Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent!

So that's what it was.  From the tv it looked like a bruise.  I thought he fell down.

LOL, so did I at first; then I went researching his day! LOL. Then I had to study a bit on Ash Wednesday!
