This is my mayor talking about Braddock and how the Simulus should be used to help places like Braddock. 
To the outside world perhaps Braddock is rough looking..  The buildings have all seen better days but for me its home.  I remember being a little girl and being able to travel to Braddock by myself.  I remember back in the day before the steel mill closed and before the drugs and violence. 
Our Mayor is different from the other mayors of Braddock.  He's a rich white kid with a college degree who came to our town and fell in love. 
The people of Braddock doesn't care that he is a rich white man I guess he sort of broke a glass ceiling getting elected to a town that usually elects poor African Americans or poor whites.   This man has been a God send.
