Amy, He is absolutely correct.

Pres.Obama has played laissez faire approach on health care. Wanting to be tefflon President does not always work in your favor, especially when the masses decide the proposal stinks..

As the President, he needed to take charge, and weigh in. He needed to decide what is the path he is proposing and get people to buy into that.

He stood on the sideline with a pen in hand.

That does not work.

Now, why he did that is another question altogther. He may have said 93-94 there was too much direction from the WH. Well, that was not the case. What the congress has done is actually move to the exact proposal that was turned down in 93-94. That is entirely stupid; they did not learn that the Reps are simply that; they are reps of people's voice.

Typically, the voters move en masse to cause a show down to balance power... because they are onto the powerful bully pulpit with the loud microphone.

I totally agree. Barack got exactly what he wanted - well, what his puppet masters wanted - and he did it all behind closed doors. That was in the news! O-criminal met with Big Pharma, etc.. at the White House, in secret, although he'd promised transparency.

What Wolf is trying to do is sneakily ABSOLVE OBAMA of what's in the bill. It's better to make BO look weak and stupid than it is to make him look like what he is: E-VIL. furious
