Another Gang Rape, Richmond, Ca.

I think Richmond ought to be named Gang Rape City..........a 15 year old was walking 2 miles from Richmond HS, and a car with 4 men, at gun point pulled her into the car, taking her to unknown location and raped her.  She was then dropped off at midnight near Contra Costa College.

You might remember the 16 year old back in Oct who was ganged raped on the school
grounds.  In her case there was 6 men arrested, and they have included a 7th rapist,
43 year old John Crane, who is considered very dangerous.  The police are saying the two
caes are not related.

These rapist are obviously cut from the same cloth.  It's beyond scary, it terrorism.

OMG. I haven't been to Richmond in years, and don't know much about the city, but you have to wonder what kinds of problems law enforcement is facing - lack of funding? not enough staff? Whatever it is, I hope they get the help they need. But, the truth is, of course, this is not just a law enforcement problem. Some serious break-downs in other systems have occurred long before this tragic incident.

As I recall, following the other incident, there was a big rally and show of support for the victim and in protest of the crime and the situation that spawned it. You are so right, B4112, it is terrorism. And, the truth is, girls and women (and in some cases, boys, too) must always be aware of the potential danger that exists everywhere.

My thoughts and prayers are with this young girl and her family. How sad.
