On October 1, 2009 Welsleyan Univ celebrated a Southern Indian festival called Navaratri which in itself is a bit special that they celebrated that!  They had this concert with their students singing Carnatic classical music from South India.  Very impressive.  It takes 10+ years of practice for anyone to sing at the level the primary singer in this is performing at.




BTW, Welsleyan has always been on the forefront of exploring other nations' culture.. Hillary Diane Rodham went to Wesleyan.
