I have a tremendous amount of respect for Mr. Clinton, but I wish he would advise the Democrats to get it together and to stop playing games with people's health and the country's economic well-being. Most people don't want such a massive health overhaul that may bankrupt the country. I also hate the idea that those who can least afford it may have to pay a $3800 penalty for not having health insurance. There has got to be a better way to lower health costs for people and to expand health coverage for the poor. If the Democrats haven't thought of a better way, then they should take a break and come back with better ideas at the beginning of the new year.
