In 2008, millions of women voted along one single issue: choice. Well, we hate to say we told you so, but….

Women cannot count on a single party to protect their interests. Tonight as our Congress passed a historic healthcare bill, something missing? Yes, coverage for women who choose to have abortions.

Now as folks who follow The New Agenda well know, we have consciously chosen to leave this one issue aside, and tonight is another example of exactly why.

Despite the fact that 56% of women voted for Obama in 2008, many around the issue of choice, the DNC party leadership had no problem tonight, yet again, selling this constituency down the river.

It's small consolation that they now look at us with different eyes, knowing in their heart of hearts we were right all along...maybe they will listen next time!

Now, he's seen the light..........Obama vs. Stupak, on ABC saying this is a health care bill not an abortion bill, and the bill should be revised.

I guess Pelosi and Obama had a little talk this afternoon! Isn't that just like him, he puts the hyde amendment in the bill, he left out contracptives in the stimulus bill, and now he changed
his mind.

That's what women get for voting on only one issue and look where that got them. They need to stop being so partisan if they want their issues taken seriously.

Now women have no excuse to vote just for one issue but rather for the candidate. Voting Republican should be no different.

What women don't understand is that all hospitals, all clinics, all insurance companies will
be subsidized under the government's plan............meaning they will have to follow the rule:
No federal dollars will be used to fund abortions............in of conversation.

No federal dollars fund abortions now and I don't see this passing the Senate.  It is much harder for the Senate to get the needed votes.
