I still don't know how to make these things quote. The dems did it. It is now going to the senate. The word is, the republicans will kill this nightmare bill. I hope so.

People are asking why would pelosi send this bill, knowing the republicans are going to kill it. To me, that seems simple. Even if the thing is killed, the dems, pelosi, the fraud, get to say, in 2012, see, we dems tried but the evil pubs killed it. a win-win for the fraud. furious

{WASHINGTON -- The House has acted. Now it’s up to the Senate to hash out health care legislation.

With
near unanimous Republican opposition, the House passed the landmark
overhaul that seeks to cover millions more Americans while ending some
insurance industry practices.]

You're correct.  Nothing in politics is done without a motive.  They are playing 3-D chess, while the American people are still playing checkers.  They are 'way' ahead of us.

Our government reminds me of those big Las Vegas Magic Act shows.

They know the end to the trick.  For us, the audience, oh, I mean taxpayers, get a 'real' show.  It's all smoke and mirrors, fancy clothes, loud music and, or sound effects, flashy lighting, crazy hand movements, cheering and clapping and a two drink minimum all for the price of losing your shirt at the gambling tables.

Let's vote as many of these bozos out on their arses.

By the way - "command copy" your link, then click on the "chain" icon above and "command paste" into the space that says, "Link URL" and click bottom left button that says, "insert".
That should do it.

My rep is Posey and he voted no. He is a republican, and a good man. He helped me with a problem I had with a Florida idiocy rule.

I am keeping track. I will not vote for any incumbent who supports this disaster administration destroy this country.

I've written my Senator several times about this horrendous piece of self-aggrandizing, pick-pocketing garbage. Of course, I got nowhere because my state Senator is....HARRY THE LEMON-FACED REID!

My husband and I are already deciding we probably won't be able to retire in the US. If this thing passes it'll probably be the nail in the coffin for us.

Greta did a wonderful interview with Lindsey Graham, R-SC, where he said that the House bill has "a snowball's chance in hell" and is DOA (dead on arrival).

And I think he is right.
If there is a public option - Blue Dogs will block it.
If there is NO public option - The Left will block it.

I emailed my congressman, Donnelly, and told him I will work as hard as I can for anyone who runs against him, including second mortgaging my home to support the opposition. Period!

I'm so tired of this administration. Everyday I wake up I keep wondering what the hell these lunatics will do next.

LOL @ just the sight of the name "Alan Grayson".

I don't see the point of all Pelosi's manuvering she did to get this thing through the House - she promised everybody under the sun conflicting things - she took abortion out for the pro-lifers and now the pro-choicers won't vote for the bill unless it's back in - but then the pro-lifers will bail. Not just a symbolic "victory" for him, but a stupid and meaningless one, too.

"Dead on arrival" =  "unsalvagable", when politicians use that term, there's no negotiating the thing, period.
