Gallup: Obama suffers worst 3rd quarter drop in approval since 1953 (RealClearPolitics 10/21/09)

Thought y'all might enjoy some good news. People are waking up!

http://realclearpolitics.blogs.time.com/2009/10/21/poll-obama-worst-decline-in-approval-since-wwii/

Barack Obama has suffered the worst third quarter decline in his public approval rating of any elected president in the post-World War II era.

Obama's average quarterly approval rating has slipped from 62 percent in the second quarter to 52.9 percent in the third quarter, according to Gallup polling. That 9 percentage point decline is twice the amount of any other post-war elected president. Dwight Eisenhower, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan saw their standing decline 4 points between the two quarters. No other elected president has declined more than 4 points since 1953. The third quarter began July 20 and ended October 19.

The numbers I've been reading lately have Obama's approval rating in the high forties. If this keeps up, the 4th quarter report will show that he has continued to drop.

You know, we said this would happen before he stole the election:  YOU CAN ONLY HIDE STUPID, CONNIVING, CREEPY, AMERICA-HATING INCOMPETENCE FOR SO LONG!!

Thanks for sharing that, Jen.  It's better than a donut with my coffee! coffeecup.gif donut.gif

My advice to the Big Money Machine that Runs Things (BMMRT)?  PICK A BETTER FREAKIN' PUPPET NEXT TIME!!furious

I guess it's nice in some ways to be able to say, "I told you so," but how much damage will Omoron do before he's left office? Yesterday, I realized how embarassed I am to live in this country - a country that elected a lying, thieving, corrupt, inexperienced jerkwad above a highly qualified woman and in the end, a war hero. All for what? Some hopey-dopey talk. It's embarassing!!!!!

Glad to see his numbers are down though! Hopefully, they'll stay down and we won't have to endure 8 years of Oasshat.

Obama is not helping us, not helping poor people around the world, the only one he seems to be helping is himself. Nothing he says or does is workable.

I don't know who is behind all this, but I believe this has been their plan all along.

I don't think he even plans to run again, and they are already grooming the next one.

I think he (the dems) are trying to jam it all into law now, before next year's elections, because they know they probably will lose their lock.

I believe he is the "foot in the door" for their communist plans to take this country down, into just one more government controlled socialist nothing nation.

I believe the only way to stop them is to keep protesting, and in the election next year, vote in republicans. Obviously not everyone likes republicans, but I see no other choice, plus at least the republicans aren't going to keep this socialist agenda going.

We have to get rid of them. They forgot they work for us.

This is good news and I am glad to see these numbers.  I also don't think he is going to run again I also think that this is great for Hillary because people see she says what she means and means what she says. She is one of the most honest people in DC and always has been.  I think its going to be Hillary in 2012.

I don't get the entire "he is so intelligent" thing. Has anyone ever heard him speak, with no teleprompter, no notes, no answers ahead of time?

He can't. That is when he says umm, err, uhh. He does all these press conferences, but they are always staged and he knows the questions ahead of time and has the answers. Also why he refuses to allow Fox in the door.

Has anyone ever heard him speak publicly "off the cuff"? I haven't. I don't think he can.
