"Tall tale of the day: The First Lady’s weird Olympic memory"
By Michelle Malkin • October 2, 2009 11:03 PM
"From Michelle Obama’s failed pitch to the International Olympic Committee:
"“Some of my best memories are sitting on my dad’s lap, cheering on Olga and Nadia, Carl Lewis, and others for their brilliance and perfection.”
"Um. Ew. Oof.
"Mrs. Obama was 20 years old when Lewis first competed in the Olympics in 1984.
"Senior White House adviser and Chicago slumlord overseer Valerie Jarrett promised earlier this week that “there wouldn’t be a dry eye in the room” after FLOTUS spoke.
I knew it, I knew.......This cracks me up, cause I thought to myself that I ought to check the dates out myself............they lie so much, I can feel it in the air, I don't know where she'll find the strength for CHANGE.
Not much in either speech about what Chicago or America would bring to the Olympics -- Only, what the Olympics would do for BO and MO. Sadly, the First Couple was laboring under the illusion that the Olympic gave a rat's rear-end who or what MO did during her childhood years in Chicago. Nor did they care about Obama's race, or his dreams of hope, change, unicorns and lollipops.
That he thinks he can still charm and woo people, and get his way by spinning his tales, reflects a total lack of insight and understanding. The fact that he could charm his way into the presidency is a poor reflection on American voters.
Guess you can't fool all the people all the time, and the Olympic committee was just not in the mood for Obama's hopes and dreams, or MO's childhood memories.

Don't they CHECK these things out before they blab them out. These two are huge embarassments to our country and I'm glad to see someone calling them out on this crap. Go back to J Crew and shop, Michelle. That seems to be what you do best.
Oh, she was probably just lying again - she often tells about her father and his painful struggles with MS - now he's supposed to have a 20-year-old amazon routinely sitting his lap?
Here's a pic of the Obamas at the meeting - they look miserable:

Exactly, Sug. If you or I or anyone else here was president or First Lady, we would not get up on stage, in front of the entire world, and purposely either (1) spew lies, or (2) spew something someone else had written that we weren't 100% sure on, especially if it's SUPPOSED TO BE OUR OWN HISTORY!! For crying out loud, what is wrong with these people? They are not right in the head.
The photo that Ebinger shared is the perfect example of this, and we've seen it with these two time and time again. They don't know how to act in public, as representatives of the American people, or just an non-RUDE-AS-HELL people.

I guess she figured that BO can get away with lying about things like his mom being on food stamps when he was two when in fact food stamps didn't exist when he was two. Or Remember when he told those people in Alabama that he was concieved on Bloody Sunday despite the fact that Bloody Sunday was in 1965 and not in 1960.

I know. The fact that he was never called on that "I was conceived because of Selma thing" will never cease to amaze me. He made up a life story that he thought would give him the best advantage. That's what con artists do. No difference.

What ticked me off was that it was African Americans that allowed him to get away with that crap. I am sorry but the civil rights era is one part of history that for African Americans is special. I guess the first black President was something they were willing to overlook a few lies. Regardless of how "special" Barack's election is it will never compare to the ending of slavery and the civil rights era. We got our freedom from those events Barack did nothing to change our lives.
I heard the stories from my grandmother about how it felt to be able to cast that first vote without the fear of being killed because of that vote. My daddy had to leave the South because some white men said he was "Reckless eyeballing some White Woman. I guess its just a little more important to me then that fraud in the White House.
