I don't know - that report is from Pravda, who are somewhat like Hugo Chavez's state run media (and not too far off from our own MSM at this point) in publishing whatever the government wants published.

Pravda is not reliable.

Now, Russia would certainly like it if she had said that, just as they were dancing in the streets about the Polish missile system.....

I wonder if her remarks were published anywhere else.

Well, I hate to say this, but it tracks with what is going on now. So, it is believable, but I would like to see another source to have a definite confirmation.

It seems that all of the socialist/communist thinking people are coming out now and showing who they really are.

SSmith, I know how you feel. The more that I find out about the Democratic Party, the more I find myself appalled. And, wonder how could I have been so naive . . . but, no longer. This socialist movement goes back as far as Woodrow Wilson. Hopefully, this will be the last time it will be tried . . . if we survive this time, that is . . . I want my country back from these people!

You can't really trust the Russian media. The "news" is state controlled and everything else is celebrity tabloid type junk. Real journalists get killed there.

BINGO! No offense but anyone who is a staunch anything, Republican, Democrat, or whatever - usually misses the obvious political partisan "talking points" and party spin to the news. From now on ssmith, "Eyes Wide Open". It's not easy but, IMO, it's the only way to see the truth and truly live the words, Country Before Party.

I so totally agree 100% +! We are definitely on the same page.

My eyes are open now and the more that I learn the more that I question. I no longer have "blinders on" and am willing to "dig" for the truth . . . no matter where it may lead. And, sometimes the truth is uncomfortable, but it is the truth and the truth matters.

Basically, I want to question with boldness and hold to the truth. I will not ever follow anything blindly.

She is wrong about the American people, DEAD WRONG!!!

However, she is right about the American Government!

The government under this Current Obama Administration is not looking to be a world leader but a world appeaser in hopes that he can persuade people by making the US look weaker. The problem is that in his hubris he underestimates the other world leaders who will jump at any opportunity given to make them look bigger and more important than the USA and run with it.

Under the Previous Bush Administration the rest of the world was ignored as Bush did whatever his Administration wanted w/o regards to the facts and consequences.

Both Administrations have looked to be extreme polar opposites on a number of things as well as extremely similar in hopes of attaining power. Both have grossly overestimated themselves and driven our country into the ground. And Obama's Administration is worse because they saw the mistakes of the previous but in some ways continue and in others even worse and more rapidly destroying our country!

IMO, this can only be stopped by a truly Centrist President & Administration.

Anyway, the book's title is something along those same lines, like "America needs to not lead but be equal" nonsense, but with just two words, with "America" being one.
