I hate giving this crazy lefty nut job any free publicity, but this one I just could NOT ignore. It had to be posted here. I want to put the insults to Tea Party Protesters aside since they are grown ups who have made a conscience decision to protest- they knew what they are in for and can take it (God Bless them all).
But apparently Garofalo, who is a compassionate Liberal, understanding and empathic bleeding heart, stops bleeding when it comes to the mentally handicap. A condition I've noticed has inflicted others of the Liberal set ever since Sarah Palin came onto the scene last year. Is the fact that Sarah Palin has given birth to a downs syndrome child, caused the shift in the Liberal's mantra? We have seen our President and Liberal celebs, on more then one occasion, using the term retard/retarded.
Hmm.... makes me wonder, do they hate Sarah Palin so much that they have to destroy her and any issue connected to her. I wonder what Garofalo says about Sarah Palin's child behind closed doors? I wonder what our President says about the mentally handicap behind closed doors? Do these Liberal nuts believe that the responsible thing to do is to NOT give birth to the "retards"? And more importantly, I wonder what Obama's Healthcare Bill says about medical care given to a woman who choses to give birth to a baby known to have special needs?
Garofalo: Tea Party Protesters 'Functionally Retarded'; 'I Want My Country Back' Code for 'I Want My White Guy Back'
Comic devotes portion of stand-up routine to attacking conservative activists, insists 2004 Bush/Kerry election was stolen.

You probably already knew Jeanane Garofalo was no fan of conservatives, Republicans or just about anything that could be described as right of center. But the former Air Americahost and MSNBC regular really has a low regard for conservative activists. In an appearance at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 21, Garofalo ripped into tea party protesters, or what some of the wizards of smart on the left have deemed “tea baggers” calling them “functionally retarded adults” and “racists.”
“Do you remember tea baggers?” Garofalo said. “It was just so much easier when we could just call them racists. I just don’t know why we can’t call them racists, or functionally retarded adults.”
Garofalo has made prior overtures alleging any public display of discontent with the current president is nothing more than racial hatred. Back in April she called tea party protesters “a bunch of tea bagging rednecks” on MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann.” However, she contended the public’s frustration expressed over the direction of the country was code for racism.
“The functionally retarded adults, the racists – with their cries of, ‘I want my country back,’” she said. “You know what they’re really saying is, ‘I want my white guy back.’ They apparently had no problem at all for the last eight years of habeas corpus being suspended, the Constitution being [expletive] on, illegal surveillance, lied to on a war or two, two stolen elections – yes, the John Kerry one was stolen too. That’s not tin-foil hat time. That’s just…”
According to Garofalo, the media were the reason George W. Bush defeated both former Vice President Al Gore in 2000 and Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., in 2004 to hold on to the White House for eight years.
“Our media is quite happy to report on any stolen election around the world, any stolen election around the world except ours,” Garofalo said. “And it’s just unexamined narcissism. It’s just, if you were to say this to the average American, ‘You know they steal elections in Uganda.’ ‘Yeah.’ ‘You know they steal elections in America.’ ‘Why do you hateAmerica?’ ‘Why didn’t you ask me why do you hate Uganda?’”
And throughout Garofalo’s stand-up routine, she reiterated her belief that the outrage over President Barack Obama’s and the Democratic-controlled Congress’ branded of domestic policy is veiled racism.
“This is neuroscience,” Garofalo said, as she went on to blast the health care town halls. “This is not politics, this is neuroscience. It is purely limbic brain activity – this emotion over being angry that there’s a black guy in office, with the people showing up armed to the health care meetings – to whatever, the town halls. But it’s just, and these tea baggers. It makes me soul sick.”

Jeanine is going to be emotionally squashed when she realizes what a fraud her hero is. Hey, other liberals are realizing it - it's just a matter of time.
It's all gotta be about racism, right? We couldn't just be using our ears and eyes and brains to see what the actual deal is - the Big Money Backers installed a lemon, and not the good kind!

Well, her title as "comic" is dead-on. Garofalo's entire "rant" is comical. Think she needs to look in the mirror, as she is the one wearing the "tin-foil hat".
She obviously is attempting to get publicity for her crude remarks. Unfortunately, for her, the general public only finds her remarks repulsive and truly ignorant. Her only audience is the "MSNBC type crowd" . . . pathetic.
Hummm so I want my country back is code for I want my white guy back. I didn't know that damn and here I am just a black chick from the hood and I want my country back. I did not know I was a redneck. I guess she thinks agreeing with the black guy just because he is black is NOT racist well I disagree I think that if you agree with Obama because he is a black man then you are racist. I am so sorry but right wingers wouldn't agree with Obama if he were white then why should they agree with him now. This whole racist thing is getting on my nerves. Perhaps if the people who are saying this had to deal with real every day in your face racism the damn race card wouldn't keep getting played.
The problem us white folks have Hillary is if we do open our mouths, people just naturally assume we are racists since Obama is black and we aren't. We are dismissed and not taken seriously and our voices are having a hard time being heard. We can stand and shout with a megaphone and still not be taken with any credibility. Do all those people at the townhalls really deserve the label racist because they are afraid of what is in this health care bill? Yet that is what is being pushed through the news, that and Republican plants. Its impossible to be heard and to be taken seriously. Its frustrating to try and walk such a fine line out of fear of being automatically pegged as racist. This is like Pandora's box. That genie has been let out of the bottle, and I don't think there is anyway to put it back in. I don't think though that we have seen the worst of this situation. I think its going to get bad, and I think the divisions between the whites and blacks are going to nose dive because of the deep resentment that this constant allegation of racism is causing. I really don't know how we can put the skids on it here. I don't know what your experiences are on a day to day basis, maybe I'm just an optimist or maybe I'm just blind, but from where I am, and where I live which is a university town, you just don't see racism here. Our Chief of Police is black, and he is universally beloved here, he also ran for a board of supervisors position and won with an overwhelming margin of all voters, black and white. There are interracial couples everywhere you look, people don't care. Our neighborhoods are integrated, my doctor is white, but my dentist is black and she has a fully integrated staff and integrated clientele. I just don't see it in my life or my town. If I sat and thought about it, I could give you hundreds of examples just like that to defend the fact we aren't racists here. The question is why would any of us have to defend? And the answer is because I do feel like I am under attack because I don't approve of this health care bill and I don't approve of Obama. Whenever you as a person is being attacked unfairly as most of us are who are white and oppose Obama, you do feel a sense of self righteous indignation and you do become defensive and you do become resentful. And that is happening all thoughout this country. And that is REALLY bad news.
She's so pathetic it's really sad. Her father was an oil executive. Typical white guilt pretentious brat! Like Bill Ayers' dad was the very wealthy and well connected CEO of Edison Light.
Why is it all these middle class hating radicals who presume to understand what the middle class and the disenfranchised and feel almost without exception come from wealthy and secure backgrounds???
How can the wealthy spoiled elite ever truly comprehend the aspirations, concerns and fears of 2 classes of which they have never belonged and actually despise; the middle class and the poor?!?!
It's because they don't understand or care! It's all a big F*** YOU to their parents. They're well into their 40's and 60's and still behaving like rebellious pre-teens! But hey, it's other people who are "functionally retarded".
Maybe we should light a candle for her. She could certainly do with a little enlightenment. lol

I agree whole heartedly with you on this. She seems like a complete pretentious brat.
