I am sorry SJL didn't listen to this person but I still like her. She was loyal to Hillary and still is.

Her "people" were calling her from within the same meeting hall. They were directing her to acknowledge/wave to local dignitaries and BigTimeDonors. Apparently everytime she answered her phone, her eyes would dart to a specific location and she would nod/waive.... even though her constituents were speaking directly with her. Unfortunately, SJL was more concerned with the 'important' people than with the obviously important people talking to her. Indeed, it was shockingly rude of her - the footage is unbelievable. SJL's staff put out a statement saying "SJL was actually calling FOTUS' hotline to get more info for her constituents" ... bad enough that she was rude but to make up a bad lie is just thricely insulting! SJL just needs to own up and apologize for not taking her constituents seriously.

I like SJL but I think congress really are all being courted to fall in line behind Obama. It is really sickening.

Seriously Shelia Jackson Lee needs to tell her constinents to kiss her black azz.  They are the rudest bunch of koolaid drinkers I have ever seen. They are rude always and treat her so bad because she backed Hillary I don't feel sorry for the rude b**tards.  I am sick of the tweets disrespecting her because she supported Hillary.

SJL, not matter what, should not have taken a call--it's just not the right thing to do. But I still think of her fondly, because of her support for Hillary.

 SJL was damned if she did, damned if she didn't. She always respects her constituents and though she shouldn't have taken the calls I don't think she was intentionally trying to be rude and I do believe she was multitasking like she said and still listening to the questions. I am not in support of Obama's HC plan I don't understand why congress will atleast just do the single payer plan, I think they are all afraid of Obama's threats.

What a bummer that this happened.  I think that she should apologize for using her cell in the middle of that meeting.  It doesn't make me think less of her because of her loyalty to Hillary and all of the things that she has done while she has been representing her constituents.  She is a powerhouse for the people.  She has brought many African American issues to the forefront.

This is unfortunate and she should take responsibility for this, then we should move on.

Her constitents know she is the ONLY one is Washington fighting to overturn the Rockerfeller law and like I said I could care less if she is rude to them they are the rudest bunch of ingrates I have ever seen and like I said they need to give respect before they get it.  I am not for being rude to your constintiuents but frankly when you represent the rudest most ignorgant ghetto idiots sometimes rudeness is better then being nice.
I will never forget those tweets about SJL and the ignorgant things the Obots did. I also remember the death threats and the booing these idiots did to her all she did was talk on the phone during a meeting. They were probley just a bunch of Obots anyway

I think what Sheila did was rude....

and also she needs to NOT support this awful ration care bill

but I still respect this woman very much.. also what is not reported in the news.. she stayed at that townhall until 1am

She just apologized and invited "Tracy" (the cancer survivor who was ignored during SJL's infamous cell phone call) to get together with her.  The right thing was done.  We all do stupid things but only the smartest among us know when to acknowledge our errors.  Thanks, SJL
