Arni did more than that, he cut more than 20 million from the Domestic Violence programs for shelters here in California.
As you know, this issue is not a priority here, and across this country, regardless that stats show that women are abused every 15 second. The police are more of a priority than the victims of this abuse and physical violence.
Not to mention that over 250,000 inmates in California will be released back to communities, and I'm willing be bet many are the offenders of domestic violence.

There has never been enough beds for Domestic abuse shelters nor drug rehab centers another problem for women that goes ignored even though there are many women hooked on drugs. Nor is there money for people who are trying to leave the life of Prostution. Women and the Poor are the voices that somehow go ignored.
