He is such a liar. He isn't for single payer. His plan has nothing to do with single payer...it's nothing more than letting the insurance companies executives regulate even more of the health care industry. I read the whole thing...it's really a terrible mish mash of baloney that has nothing to do with "universal" health care. God the lies out of his mouth.

Thanks for reading the whole thing, Alice.  You are braver than I am.  I think this is just a game that Obama is playing to pretend that he's doing something the Dems are expecting, and, as usual, he's lying through his teeth.

I don't see in the video where HE says that this will eliminate private insurance.  There is no way in HELL the private insurance industry would allow that.

I was a GREAT system, where everyone is covered.  Is that too much to ask?

I want to know what the pay off is to him for slamming HR676 OFF the table. At his so called question and answer session he didn't have ONE representative for single payer even in the room and the one person who tried to ask about it was escorted out...more like strong armed.

This is such baloney. Then we have the fact that he has got more contributions from the insurance industry than any other candidate and I see a little pay to play going on here. He basically screwed with HR676 so he could reward his donars and THEN tries to call "health care reform" which it is nothing but, a little of this and a little of that. PLUS is IS cutting medicare and medicaid to pay for it.

A lot of progs are super hot mad over this and at Pelosi too. For taking the one bill that everyone fought for, for so long totally off the table and Pelosi is callous about it.

This whole thing is a sick joke. I mean leave it to Obama to create a bill that the left and the right do not want and then try to shove it right on through whether it will work or help anyone or not, all for his own self aggrandizment!
