Letter: Look For Hillary on Democrats' 2012 ticket (JG-TC Online 11/19/10)

Clinton Derangement Syndrome Alert! However, I will thoroughly enjoy myself if she really does wage a scorched earth policy against Obama.

It has been reported that even now Democrats are in the process of closely examining the background of all those Republicans that might challenge Obama in 2012.I contend this will prove to be an exercise in futility, for Obama will not be on the ticket in 2012.

Hillary Clinton is certainly not interested in the vice presidency, as some have suggested. She believes she should have been the Democratic nominee in 2008, and will settle for nothing less in 2012. She will be 65 years old in 2012, has been given an opening by the rejection of Obama policies in this election, and has no intention of waiting four more years until she is 69 years old before once more seeking the presidency.

She will soon wage a scorched earth policy against Obama, driving an ever widening wedge between them, soon rendering him as unfit for the Presidency.

Power hungry from her youth, she can quickly end his plans for another term. Not that her basic ideological positions differ from Obama's, but she has the deceptive chameleon like ability to sell herself to the voters, and become all things to all people. She is now more popular than Obama, and her ascendancy to the Presidency is simply a given.

Just like Nixon and Obama, she has compiled a long hit list, and has no qualms about using the power of the office to punish her enemies and reward her friends. It was Hillary alone who managed husband Bill's numerous bimbo attacks and kept him in office during those difficult months, and that simply for her own grandiose future plans.

As Barbara Olson wrote in her biography of Hillary, "Hell to Pay." The Clinton era is far from over and Hillary's ambitions far from being satisfied. So, stand aside one and all, Hillary The Great is waiting in the wings to assume her rightful, at least in her own mind, place in history. "Welcome back to Washington Madam President."

Whether or not these stories come true, it's sure fun to read them, and I'm pinning my hopes on them. The author is not always nice to Hillary in this piece, but that may give it more relevance. Madam President indeed!!

I probably should emphasize that I don't believe everything in the articles I post here at HW. One thing I can say with certainty is that Hillary 2012 articles were rare when That One first took office and now they're all over the place. This latest batch all seem to be coming from the right. I don't know if it means they know something, or if they're just using Hillary to emphasize Zero's weaknesses. However, if it's the latter, aren't there other ways for the Repubs to do this without bringing Hillary into the mix? Another possibility is that the Repubs are using Hillary to divide the Dems, but the Dems are already divided. Again, there's no reason to bring Hillary into the mix. And like jdona, I detect fear here, which also indicates that these right-wingers know something.
