11/8 Hillary Clinton says Barack Obama can rebound by taking page from Bill Clinton's playbook

"I’m absolutely confident he can do that," Clinton said on ABC's "Nightline" about the 2008 upstart who beat her for the Dem presidential nomination. The trick will be to make it look like he's moving to the middle while sticking to his agenda, Clinton said.

"I don’t think that Bill changed his principles or changed his objectives or really reversed course in any way," Clinton said. "I think what he did was take a very clear-eyed assessment of what was going to be possible with the Congress after the election, and moved on every front that he could to get things done."

She has spoken and now if Obama fails to do as she thought he would (emulate Bill) it is Obama's fault

Obama won't do it. I don't think he has it within him. He is too arrogant.

Bill was smart enough to recognize that compromise with the party in power was the only way to get results. This is why Welfare Reform was passed. It was the best that could be pushed through a Pub congress. Even so, the unreasonable Latte-libs, who are able to live their lives in the realm of theory rather than nitty-gritty reality, have really held Welfare Reform against Bill, and no doubt, Hillary, as well.

I don't think Obama will go to the trouble of taking the steps Hillary advised. He's too arrogant to take advice from Bill, and too lazy to do the really hard work.
