The blog post is worth reading.

As I read that post, I was thinking that the Tea Party movement and the GOP make it appear as though the Repubs and Conservatives have a stronghold on the Constitution, the Founding Fathers, the Declaration fo Independence.... No, of course, they do not.  What they DO have is a NON-INCLUSIVE INTERPRETATION of the constitution that REFUSES TO EVOLVE.  We can see that if we are willing to digest the meaning of "GOING BACK TO THE CONSTITUTION" or "GOING BACK TO OUR FOUNDING FATHERS".  Neither expected the country to go back - the Constitution was written as a forward looking document towards the formation of an inclusive country.

It is really heartwarming to find such good posts and believe in the goodness of people. It makes me believe that this country may survive such cruel divisiveness of the Tea Party Movement at this critical juncture.
