Can the Dude Abide?

WASHINGTON

Barack Obama became president by brilliantly telling his own story. To stay president, he will need to show he can understand our story.

At first it was exciting that Obama was the sort of brainy, cultivated Democrat who would be at home in a “West Wing” episode.

But now he acts like he really thinks he’s on “West Wing,” gliding through an imaginary, amber-lit set where his righteous self-regard is bound to be rewarded by the end of the hour.

Hey, dude, you’re a politician. Act like one.

To hear that from Maureen Dowd, and on NYTimes Op-Ed! LOL.   KARMA!!   It sure must be a halloween in the WH!

Maureen, He became President by YOU PEOPLE telling the Americans with your big MIC  a brilliant made up story.   You know, to all of us lunchpail small town America, who dont know if we smelled arugula one day and lettuce the next.

You guys better do nice things fast, or Karma going to catch up with you!


Pres.Obama failed to learn one important matter from the failure of Pres.W.Bush.  You CANNOT DELEGATE IMPORTANT MATTERS - not in details, driver nor communication.  If Health care was that important to the POTUS, he needed to stay on top of it on all aspects.  Yeah, I have an analogy that may ring a bill - asleep at the wheel.

As for his audacity, we dont need more of it...  We need it in the CORRECT PLACES.  Like in facing the country and giving the straight scoop on the facts, figures and direction that truly matters.  And, we dont need to hear about other stuff he has to scoop.

MoDo acts as if she still believes that "beautiful story".  Most people know by now that Barack had the audacity to take a few liberties with the facts when he, Ayers, and Jeremiah penned The Audacity of Hope.

Freespirit, have you heard the latest play on word for the "MoDo" abbreviation of Maureen Dowd's name? I think UppityWoman was the one who came up with it back in 2008 -- MooDoo, LOL. Ever since I read that, Maureen has been MooDoo for me ever since lol.

freespirit, Yep, she has the swan song written on her heart still!   I think she is in serious realization that he is not what they thought he is but cannot bring herself to admit.  She was so in Koolaid, that she has to go through the wring cycle yet.

As to those names you mention, I think there is a LOT more to come.  You recall the website obamaassociates.com or .org... I tried to find it and it was not viewable... You recall those names?  Many were mentioned in the two articles of WH informant that Jen had posted.   Also, I searched some of those names and interestingly they come up here and there, adn together a bit... Dont know if you tried searching.  Got to give it a weekend when I have some time on hand.
