People are really upset with the state of affairs.  But, anger and drama from the leader at the helm does no good.. especially when the federal government was party to giving them a pass from certain regulatory requirements 3 months into this administration.  We know who got boatloads of dollars from BP.  We know who is beholden to big oil and big coal companies.

I saw some of Obama's rant on TV. I would have found it more believable if he had expressed some outrage sooner. Everybody else has been angry about the oil spill for weeks and Obama is just starting to understand this now?

Jen, what's wierd is if you compare his "rant" with his 2008 campaign speeches, the tone and pitch are the same!  i.e., it is just a high pitched speech... Another campaign position statement.  Perhaps MSM will wise up to that fact one of these days.
